A person was traveling from down south and broke down on their way to New York. They had no money. The cook gave them everything she had on her ( a large sum) to help them out. I go there often and you cant find a nicer bunch of people. Food is great and the folks there are 1st class.

We stopped here on a road trip and were pleasantly surprised. This restaurant is charming, the service friendly, and the food delicious. Try the specials, especially if they have the turkey craisin salad. Do not miss the excellent rice pudding!

We stopped here a few days ago and couldnt have picked a better road stop restaurant! The chili was excellent as was the chicken soup! Cold beer and wine along with homemade cookies and the friendliest staff ever.... perfection!
