I tried contacting Corporate days ago via both email and phone - no one ever got back to me. Because of this Im now writing a review online in the hopes that more people (and hopefully Smashburgers corporate offices) will see this. My recent experience at Smashburger was the worst Ive ever had with customer service. As many people have noted in their reviews here they have a horrible staff member (Sakeenah - proven by receipts) who is not only rude and abrupt but also clearly hates her job. I called in an order so that I could pick it up without having to wait, when I called she told me I could order online but I had had a terrible time navigating their menu online so I told her that I would rather place the order over the phone to which I received a very heavy sigh and "fine, MAAM, one order or two?" To which I responded one order, after finishing placing my order for a burger she started to tell me my order total which I told her was not finished because I had one more sandwich, her response, "MAAM, I ASKED you how many orders you had!" Im sorry, I was unaware that two items were considered separate orders...The rest of the phone call was just as aggressive. When I went in to pick up my order there was a woman with children in front of me, the absolute rudeness this cashier was expressing to this woman and her children made me want to turn around and not even get the food but hey, I was already here and my order had been placed. I almost filmed her, because it was THAT BAD but of course by the time I decided I would and got my phone out the exchange had finished and I was up to receive my order. Based on this experience I will never be going to this or any other Smashburger again. Feel free to contact me directly for more information on this experience.

Everything I go here they mess up my burger so I think its OK sometimes people forget. But it has gotten to the point where the last 8 times Ive been there they have always messed up my order and last night was the tipping point. Every time I notice toppings missing I have to go back and they give it you a topping on the side and thats exactly what they offered me to do give me bacon on the side when I wanted bacon IN my burger. I asked to redo my burger then the waited Jordan came to my table outside and said it would take 15 to 20 mins and I told him OK Ill finish my burger in the meantime and after 30 mins I go back to the register and ask if my burgers were ready the person at the register told me they didnt know what my order was (the same person who rung me up and even pulled up my order to see if I had bacon in my first order) then I had to reorder and it took them another 15 mins to get my order and when I got home to see if the order was right yet again they messed up my order. The excuse and attitude at this restaurant is unacceptable as other restaurants are just as or even busier than this and they do not get it wrong at least not these many times. I have pics to prove they messed up my bacon on the first and second they missed my spicy chipotle even though it says on the receipt. In total it took me 1 hour 15 mins and they got my orders wrong both times.

If there could be 0 Stars I would put that up, first while being the only one in line it took the server nearly 8 minutes to come to the register to take my order while she was cleaning an empty table and during a non busy part of the day, finally an person comes after me also waits, I ordered maybe 4 minutes before he came in, my order was simple a BBQ Bacon Cheesburger, not only do I wait for an extra 25 min. for my to go order the man after me got his food first within 10 min. of ordering, and once I head back to my job not having a chance to see the burger since I pretty much used all my lunch break just to get a burger....THERE WAS NO BBQ & ONLY 1 STRIP OF BACON and the BURGER was completely BURNED to HELL, JUST TOOK TWO BITES AND COULD NOT FINISH, completely dry and burned, worst waste of money, better service and food at McDonalds, I urge everyone that the Smash Burger in Tysons VA is s complete waste and horrible service and food, beware and find someplace better

Im pretty shocked at the poor service my family and I received at this location last weekend. When we walked in there was no line and no one tending the register to take orders. So, we waited. And waited. And waited. Until we realized the young lady on the floor chitchatting with her friend was actually the person who "shouldve" been taking our order. Instead of ending her conversation and doing her job she asked the cook to come from the back to take our order then proceed to cook said order. She then proceeded to do the exact same thing to a couple that came in while we were waiting for our order. The cook was gracious and could tell we were annoyed so he overcompensated (I mean that in a good way). But, I left with a really bad taste in my mouth from the young woman who refused to help customers and thus I wont be returning to this location. I much prefer the one in Rockville in terms of service.

Capital Burger $7 @ Smash Burger (3/5 NOMs) Hulk made my burger! There is a new burger place in Tyson corner and we are there to try it. At this chain every location has a region specific burger and so we were hungry for DC specific one. Loving the price, you get a lot of burger for such a low price. Big fan of the brioche bun and tone of cheese. Overall good burger, but not sure if it truly represent DC region. More of a laid back kind of a burger with not much crazy going on. Grilled onions, aged swiss, baby arugula, tomatoes, and of course bacon. I dont know, it didnt really have a wow flavor we have come to expect in this burger crazy world. We are known for more crazy things. Its still a good burger you wont be wrong ordering and cant wait to try more things here. What do you think would make this more DC burger?

I love Smashburger and I always have a great experience at this location! The meat is always fresh and juicy, the smash sauce is divine, the egg bun is the perfect fluffiness, and the produce is fresh. Ive tried all the fries, sauces, and many of the shakes and nothing has disappointed yet. I agree with the comment that its better than Elevation Burger and its fresher and lighter than Five Guys. I eat here weekly. The service is great! Kenyetta and Cheyenne are the best!!! They always get my order right, they make it fast, and deliver it to my table with a smile. If you ever have a problem I know theyd be willing to help. They are so pleasant and always make eating there a delightful experience for my whole family.
