Their freshly ground wheat makes a difference and their bread is delicious. But because Vienna is a satellite location of their Herndon store, being a customer of Vienna instead of Herndon feels a bit "second tier" at times. E.g. I had suggestions regarding ingredients and storage, and the Vienna staff (who are very nice and knowledgeable) said the only way for the suggestions to go through is to talk to the Herndon store. I called, talked to someone there, and was told if I want to suggest ingredient changes I need to go talk to the baker in the Herndon store.....

A friend and I wandered in here one morning after watching a staff member roll in a cart of fresh baked goods - the smell was so heavenly we had to go check it out. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the banana walnut muffins are just like what grandma might bake - if your grandma was the best baker in town. Its obvious that a lot of care is put into each of the items on the menu.

Loads of selection, and great seasonal breads. It is a little pricey but you cannot beat freshly baked bread. This is my new favorite place, I can only go here once a month but it is a treat!

The best bread you can buy. The challah bread is great on Fridays, as are the whole wheat bread (which also makes for great french toast) :)

They sell the best bread here, and its really fresh! The prices are very reasonable! I would definitely recommend this store to anyone.
