Food is Great But! Dear Irene Cook, Youve done it Congratulations! You have just lost a life long customer! My wife and I would eat at several different Paneras at least 3 and sometimes 5 times a week. We signed up and filled out three different member cards at three different Paneras in Virginia over the last almost 4 months. Each time we have been to Panera they say we are not in the system and they take another application from us. Well yesterday was the final visit we will make to your restaurant. It still was not in your system and the manager of the Paneras in Alexandria Va 5578 Vincent Gate Terrace did not care or have anything good to say. I told him I had filled out a card at his restaurant over 3 weeks ago also and he did not seem to care. So I told him I was through with your MyPanera program that it did not work and that you should not have a program that has so many problems and gave him the two cards back that I had with me at that time. I have the third card and it is not worth my time to mail it to you. I wont be coming back to any of your Paneras restaurants and we will be going to the Chop Shop from now on. They have good salads like Paneras. As you can see it is not a food problem but a management problem at your restaurants. The other card I gave back to the manager was from the 450 W Broad St, Falls Church, VA store. Both of your managers were involved with theses cards during two visits to each location. We have been eating at Panera for years all over the Country in our travels. Just thought you would like to know! As I am sure that you dont care! Wont be seeing you! Bob PS even your computer program wont take ( ) in the text line.

Service at DD down the street was very poor, googled "breakfast" and found this place. I usually dont come to Panera Bread. A young lady preparing bread asked if I was ready to order (i wasnt). A minute later, a gentleman came over and asked if I was ready to order or if I had any questions. "Can I substitute my bread on the sandwich?" "Yes!" No charge for the substitution AND the sandwich was delicious!! (The young man who prepared my sandwich was polite too!) I dont know the price difference between Panera Bread and DD for a bagel sandwich, but now Panera Bread will be my first choice for breakfast sandwiches! Great service AND great food!

This is one of the best Panera Bread cafes around. The staff does a great job serving the customers quickly, providing excellent quality of food, keeping the dining area very clean and refilling/brewing the coffee and iced tea. I love my freshly brewed iced tea! If there are any downsides to this location it is not the fault of Panera Bread. The bathrooms are poorly designed, stocked and cleaned. The property manager appears not to care and has even begun locking the bathrooms on the other floors of the building, those were nice, stocked and clean.

Quick, good eats! The employees working here are especially helpful and friendly. I needed to find a highchair, and the gentleman working the cash register immediately said he would grab one for me instead of just telling me where they were. When I went to pick up my order, the lady working near the pick up asked if I needed help with the trays (I did!). Best Panera ever. Only complaint is that the bathroom is outside the actual store and you need a code to get in.

its not the fault of the employees but theres no place to sit.. there should be a limit to how long someone can take up seating with just a cup of coffee and nothing to do but wifi them out of business. what a joke, rather sick of this sensation of sitting about looking important while honest to god hungry people come in and they not only cant get good service but cant take a moment to sit down and catch their breath. incredible.

great service, clean place but I cant stand the fact the company allows a tip jar and will ask you if you want to add tips, if you hit NO, the cashier will give you a strange look . OK why the heck I have to tip cashier for doing his/ her job. tips are for services provided on table. The company should do something about it

I eat here ridiculously often and enjoy just about everything. Friendly staff and clean restaurant. The only reason its not a 5 star rating is that the location is in a building where there is zero maintenance on weekends so the bathrooms get super gnarly. Not their fault, but still impacts the experience.

I usually have a very peasant experience at the Panera, but this time IT WAS HORRIBLE. I asked for Honey wheat bread. They gave me bread that was bought at the Trader Joes next door. Then when I went to take my sandwhich out of my brown Panera bag I found it in a mess all over my Panera bag. BAD JOB PANERA!

I want to start by saying this review is based solely on service, which has varied a great deal, and "non-bread" menu items. The soups are okay, but the salad items have been consistently disappointing. The coffee is always good!

Dont come here if youre in a rush: the layout stifles even medium duty service. Avoid set meals and smoothies. Go for the baked goods, theyre yummily made to panera bread standards. Free refill coffee.

Relatively small Panera but great place for a weekend morning meeting or just time to yourself. Helpful staff, clean, and well stocked. Kiosk ordering now gives an out to waiting in line.

I love Panera bread, nice fireplace, but parking is definitely odd and usually taken. Try parking on the street and if that fails there may be a spot right between the buildings.

Cozy place for breakfast, quiet for getting work done, and convenient for getting lunch with friends. Food is good, but not too exiting. Parking garage is tight.

They are always out of bread bowls and pastries. Both times I ordered to go the food was wrong. Disappointing! Not very clean. Building bathrooms are NOT CLEAN!!!

Pretty much the worst Panera in the area and it gets worse every time we go. I have my wife go so I dont go crazy with the horrible service and rude workers.
