All of the superb quality of any Great Harvest Bread Company outlet, with one extra plus: of all of them, Great Harvest Burke-Lorton has the best online mail order service of any of their outlets. Unlike other outlets, you can choose the specific products you want included in your order. Other outlets usually offer packages of baked goods with no flexibility, so you often ending up with something you dont really want. This outlet also uses larger boxes when needed, and holds down shipping costs by packing more into the larger boxes, and they put the customer first, no kidding - theyll go the extra mile to make sure youre happy. Count on me to be a repeat customer.

Not sure what happened. Went there on a Saturday, late morning. The place was empty. A special needs young man was manning the counter. I asked for a breakfast sandwich and coffee. Not only the young man was unable to charge me with a debit card, he gave me the coffee and never placed my order... There were 3 ladies at the "open concept kitchen" babbling away who didnt even notice a customer was at their store. I could literally had picked up anything from the counters and left. The young man was completely self absorbed, no eye contact, kept walking back and forth. I waited long enough to know nothing would be done about my order and left.

I love Great Harvest. It is near the place that I work so I am always here. I had a tried a bunch of their things, but by far my favourite combination to order from them is the Groovy Grilled Cheese sandwich along with a nice cool Iced coffee. Like any sandwich place the cheese and ingredients are crisp and delicious however, the main selling point for the great harvest has to be the freshness of their bread. There is a certain kind of taste to bread when it is fresh off the oven and I dont know if they bake every order they have in this place, but somehow they are able to keep the freshness of the bread intact.

This place is so cute, the music is great and the atmosphere is great to meet with friends. The staff is very friendly and helpful which really adds to the experience. Ive had the high quality loose leaf earl grey tea, egg and cheese sandwich, cinnamon roll with icing and their cinnamon swirl bread and it all tasted delicious. They are reasonably priced and the outdoor seating makes this place very desirable. They make everything fresh, sell bread loaves, shortbread bars, granola bars, soup kits, cookies and they sell at farmers markets so its just an awesome place to go with an array of offerings.

I always get their Chix Salad on Garlic Cheddar Bread have it toasted & add cheddar.....its beyond amazing! They use seasoned pecans which makes it soooo flavorful and its literally nothing by chunks of chicken. A very hearty and delicious sandwich! Highly recommend it! Their double cinnamon chip bread is a must for your weekend French toast fix! Ive never had a baked good here that wasnt scrumptious!! Enjoy!

I can handle food taking longer than it should due to a crowd. I can handle them forgetting part of our order and delivering the other half wrong. This happens and, when dealt with nicely and with a sincere apology, I walk away fine. But to treat customers with disdain and annoyance when we try to get our order right, it truly leaves you dumbfounded. UNREAL lack of customer service and downright manners.

This has become my favorite lunch spot! Sandwiches are always fresh and never disappoint. Service is always quick. Staff is friendly and always happy to make recommendations. Ive tried the Southwestern Chipotle Turkey, Tuscan Chicken, Cheddar Tuna Melt and the Cubano. All so delicious! Only pitfall is I usually walk out with a cookie, pastry, loaf of bread or fresh granola as well!

I hadnt been in about a year but decided to give it another try. Physically theyve changed so front counter is now facing the door and you can see all the way to the back, which I like. Tried the chicken salad on whole wheat two times and its a tasty sandwich, chock full of taste! Big sandwich on fresh bread. Definitely recommend. Oh, and staff is friendly and helpful.

Ive been to many "best cafe" places but this truly makes the name. I tried it for the first time and my taste buds screamed for everything on the menu. Their sandwiches, spreads and fresh bread is a MUST HAVE. Whats even better about this place is that their food is prepared with healthy organic ingredients. They truly live up to their quote "healthy never tasted so good".

Yummy and a nice place to study if you can get a table. Everything is delicious. I just found it a few weeks ago, but Ive been back several times since then because its so good. They do make one group of orders at a time, so if there are a bunch of people ahead of you, it may take a bit of time, but the personal attention they give each order makes it extra delicious.

The kitchen was terrible. It took 45 minutes to get our order and they got it wrong. They blamed it on a broken printer, and being understaffed. They had four people working. Ive worked busier kitchens using handwritten tickets, the same amount of staff, and more complex dishes. Its not hard to make a salad. They were poorly run.

The scones here are to die for. Its hard not to eat every baked good in the case, especially with the baked bread smell wafting through the place. Decent coffee and a quaint atmosphere. Perfect for a morning date with my lady.
