I will easily say that this is my favorite pizza in the Springfield/Burke region hands down. Where they really stand apart from the rest is the quality of the ingredients. I imagine the superb quality of the meat (especially in comparison to that of major franchises) is due to its halal requirements. The cheese and vegetables (if you enjoy vegetables on your pizza) are also unmatched, even by other locals like Maleks, Victors, and the like. They prepare the pizzas with great care, consistently preventing such tragedies as soggy crusts. I think the best (and most unique) of their pizzas are the shish kabob, chicken tikka, and beef tikka (the seasoning!). These are the ones I usually introduce my friends to from Pizza & Gyro. One last note, the pricing is better than most other places, and for the quality received, is unarguably one of the best (and tastiest) deals in town.

Im not gonna lie, the jurys out on the pizza. One day itll be just fine, the next it may not be. So I generally do try to avoid the pizza if I can, unless Im that hungry and desperate. HOWEVER, Im a pretty big mark for their fried chicken. The pieces are big (be warned: it is only legs and thighs), the skin is crispy, and it just tastes so effing good. Best part is that a 4 piece combo w/ fries is only $8, as opposed to other chicken places that may charge $10-$11. That alone is three stars, oh and they have good people running the place behind the counter. Never had any issues. Im throwing in a bonus star because this place used to be a carry-out only joint (w/ only two tables), however since their recent renovations I decided to bump the place up by a star. Now I can sit, eat, and enjoy my food without having to stare at in the car for an additional 5-10 minutes.

I came here roughly 7 times. Food is ok. I dont care for the decor. Service is just horrible. I get a short lunch break and order ahead, the food is almost never ready. This is probably the last time I come here especially after this last incident. I came in to order a philly cheese steak and the owner tries to give me someone elses order. The person who ordered that was waiting too, probably the same way I was during my breaks. From my first conversation with the owner, I figured hes sketchy. He complained about competitors giving him bad reviews, but Im positive it was the customers. After Im done writing this review, he gives me the wrong order anyway. FDA needs to check this place too. Pizza King needs to reopen in Springfield. The guy working there was a honest man and worked hard to treat his customers to the best he could offer.

I am completely agree with Muhammads review. Once in a week I travel from Southern Maryland to get a Halal meat from near by shop and get halal food from here. Food is ok, but service is horrible. Their attitude is just unacceptable. Last time I grabbed their menu and wanted to have their hours and food menu. And this week I came again all the way down from Maryland based an hour they had on brochure. When I walked in at 10pm the guy did bot even give me a chance to say Hi, he just shouted we are closed we are closed! Actual closing time supposed to be at 11pm. To the Business: I dont care about your food just say it nicely, i understand if you were slow and did not want to wait but learn to respect people!!!!

This place serves the most disgusting food on the planet. They use cheap quality ingredients, and it has horrible taste. Their Philly Cheassteak is so gross they use smelly meat. The beef literally smells like dog and they dont use enough sauce on their pizza. So gross. Please do no eat at this HORRIBLE place. And their food is not really "Halal" any place with HAM on there menu is NOT halal. Calling it Halal is just a marketing technique..it really is not "Halal"...I was a visitor from new england and heard about their philly cheese steak but it was horrible. They serve PIG definately not up to the strict standards of "halal" but i guess everyone has their own ideas and limitations of what "halal" is.

Decent food=3.5 stars Restaurant appearance, cleanliness, hygiene=0 stars People were coming and leaving but there was no one to clean tables. There was food on the floor which was enjoyed by bugs. There were bugs in the restrooms. Restrooms were dirty, very dirty. If the front looks like this imagine the back. Not a good clean place but food is somewhat decent. Dont think will go back. Just cant shake off the images of the bugs, dirty floors, dirty restrooms. Would hate to see a good restaurant (see reviews) go bad for something (cleanliness) like this. Would hiring a part time person for peak hours to clean be too much a bargain?

Total lies. Who made my order? Why ppl so many good reviews?? Wanted chicken alfredo and shrimp alfredo but what i got was total trash. They did not put any salt or anything but chicken and spagetti with LIQUID WHITE SAUSE. Alfredo suppose to be thick and rich. I bet the chicken was straight from frozen section in walmart bc chicken was only thing salty. I am pretty sure shrimp was frozen and cooked one that they sell in market too. Pizza is made with either immitation cheese or fake one. 33 dollars total and i got trash. my friend refused to eat it. Thank you for waste of my money and time

Worst service EVER!!! The guy at the register would be touching the keyboard, then he would make our pizza, when he came back he had cheese on his hands and dirty finger nails. YUCKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I told him and he said he washed his hands. but he needs to were gloves no matter what. There was another family there that was also complaining, saying every time they went their order is made wrong. They father got in a fight with the staff and left. I DONT RECOMMEND this place for anyone! the staff dont care about the customer and at times are rude.

Im no pizza snob, but I found Springfield a wasteland of gimmicky corporate pizza or uninspired, overpriced "family restaurants." I missed my local NY style shop, sweltering around an oven, perfectly combining a simple sauce, fresh mozzarella and hand-tossed dough. At least, until I found P&G. They dont waste their time with a fancy dining room or cartoon mascots. They focus on delivering a quality pizza at a great price. Is it the best ever? Of course not. But in THIS town, just being authentic is so unusual its worth checking out.
