I was so disappointed with my recent visit to Mexico Restaurant. Our server was very rude. I had ordered bean nachos with only lettuce and tomato. The food was brought out to be wrong twice. Each time it was incorrect, the server grew more and more agitated which is understandable. But what is not understandable, is that the agitation that the server had was being taken out on me and my mom. The server would go to his other tables and ask if everything was okay but would just pass by our table without uttering a word. To make matters worse, he brings the bill and asks if we are ready to pay now. We said we needed a minute to review the bill. He proceeds to storm off. He comes back and we have questions. He answers the question but had a nasty way about it. At the end, the cashier offers us coupons but I am saying (in my head), do you think I will actually return? It was an over all a bad experience and will definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

I have more of a TexMex palette with savory spicy leanings. This place probably tailors to the local community palette as the food has a bland sweet flavor. Any child could eat it and probably enjoy it without worry of spices. I had the enchilada supreme and the red sauce had a bit of a nutmeg flavor to it. Kinda weirded out my tongue a bit. The salsa was decent tho and its complimented with a second bowl of a creamy sweet dip. Wasnt too bad Ill have to say. Enjoyed the dips more than my main dish. The house margarita was maybe 10oz and was probably made with a canned mix. Not much tequila. Switched to draft beer which was ice cold and good! I am here visiting and if I return to Richmond I will try other places first.

Food wasnt great... it was bland and in small portions. And I thought pretty spendy after I saw the portions. My husband ordered nachos and it looked like something my 5 year old could have as a meal I had fajitas and they were barely seasoned . The side plate with rice and beans had like one scoop each of rice and beans It was mostly lettuce. Wanst enough for the three tortillas that came with it. I asked for more tortillas and they brought me 2 and charged me for them I also ordered the jumbo margaritas that barely had any tequila in them if any :/ waiter was very nice thou just didnt speak hardly any English... we wont be going back :(

Cost per person includes tip. This place is a really good Mexican restaurant! We visit about once a week and have had a variety of dishes. Its not like eating in authentic San Diego Mexican restaurants to be sure, but it is good and definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Portion sizes have been good. The taco salad seems small and Im used to having sour cream and guacamole and stuff in my salad, but this one is different and not my thing. The fajitas (steak) have a great taste. Calfornia burritto rocks! Overall this place is great! We recommend you give it a shot.

Sokay. The chili relleno and tamle lunch combo arrived quickly. The chili relleno was not battered and deep fried; also, it was filled with ground beed (I am used to battered, fried, and filled with cheese). It was a little lacking in flavor. The tamale was quite good. Rice and beans were fine. The only problem was that all of these things came smashed onto one small plate, and the sauce that was supposed to be on the tamale ended up on everything. Would have been better if it didnt all taste like one dish. But that is sort of Mexicans modus operandi, I guess.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. The salsa and white sauce were both very bland with no flavor. The food was also bland, I thought mexican restaurants are supposed to be known for their seasoning, the beans were runny, the California burrito had a half inch of grease in the bottom of the tortilla. The portions were small and the price was higher. Even saying this neither me or my husband could finish our food because it was disgusting. I will not go back

I happen to be staying close to the Richmond Airport. Very easy to find with plenty of parking. The menu is huge, and the portions are ample. The "small" margarita was good enough for someone at the end of a long trip. Everyone was very happy and accomodating. Most meals are a good value. For about $ 12, I had a large plate with plenty of leftovers. Compared to the other restaurants around, its a good deal for a full-service restaurant.

This place does not deserve any stars. The salsa was mashed tomatoes the queso was like they had added water to it. They tried 3 times to fix the queso. I dont know what they were trying to do with it. Then there was this waitress that bought our food to the table, she just threw the plates down. The food itself has no flavor. I dont usually give reviews but when it said voted the best in RVA, I thought people should know the truth.

Stopped by on my way out of town. I was seated very quickly. Before I could get settled there were chips and salsa at my table. The salsa was good. It was not too Spivey. They also served up this whirs sauce that was sour cream and some other spices that was not bad. I ordered sweet tea and it was instant... yuck. I ordered a fajita salad. It had a good size portion and tasted good. It was a little water logged.

While on business travels, I stopped there for a late lunch. The chips and salsa are good. But service is awful. They dont even pay attention to detail. I asked for a warm cup of water, and got ice cold water. Rude manners by the staff. Not a friendly place at all. One bad Mexican place. Just sharing my observations.

This is my go to place for good Mexican Cuisine and atmosphere. The staff are friendly and courteous. The food is delicious and moderately priced. Looking for cheap eats you can find it here too. The have specials everyday of the week from Monday through Friday! Who doesnt love Taco Tuesday??..

Cant say enough about this place. We had a tight lunch schedule and we let the waiter know upfront. We ordered a Fajita Quesadilla and a Grilled Taco Salad. It arrived in five minutes was hot and so good. Everyone was wonderful and helpful. Great job Mexico Restaurant.

The food looks really good, nice costumer service but when it comes to Mexican food every one know the deal ( hot,spice ) I couldnt even finish because it was so gross with no seasoning. Would rather go to taco bell or Chipotle. Never again going back

I ordered a seafood dish and the scallops were raw. Even after sending them back to the kitchen the chef just blackened them and they were Still raw The wait staff was OK , but a little slow, even though the place was not crowded

I went on a Tuesday, and it Was 1.00 taco Tuesday. The tacos are awesome, free homemade salsa and chips cant beat that deal and the food was awesome. Shredded chicken and beef! Will definitely go back for dinner at some point.
