NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE, AVOID!! I dont like leaving long reviews, negative ones at that, but I hate being lied to! Heres my experience, you be the judge. Came in because of good reviews, ordered chicken and rice and spring roll. Not even half way through my mean and.... CRUNCH!! ( HUGE PIECE OF CARTHLAGE) thus lost my appetite, and messed up my tooth filling! Ouch. Asked to speak to manager, Elizabeth, Who said, and I quote "some plates might come with that hard bone like carthlage, but most dont, but it COULD be there " and "halal chicken has bones" (LIE) Let me say IT IS NEVER ACCEPTABLE TO HAVE A BONE IN YOUR FOOD PERIOD. And its worse when the manager tries to JUSTIFY IT. I was surprised by this answer and asked her how could this be, is it some sort of guessing game? Also, Ive had Vietnamese food countless times, and this was never an issue. To my amazement she quickly changed her answer when I said I would be leaving a review, and I quote "oh umm... this is the first time this happened" after REPEATEDLY telling me thats "just the way it is (the chicken)" (LIAR) What?! Really?! Thats just blatant dishonesty and mistreatment of customers. In a rude manner she asked me "what can I do?" I said since I had a BONE in my food, you should make the adjustment to my bill, and instead of not charging me... To my Surprise again she said 20% off... Lol.. Wow! I replied with, "do you think its fair to charge me anything, since there was a bone in my food?" She replied with "Ill go back and talk to the owner", I asked to speak with him and to my surprise again she said "oh the owner isnt here" LIES LIES LIES She stormed off and and a few minutes later sent a waiter to tell me dont worry about the bill, and she completely ignored me and she just rolled her eyes and brushed me off while I walked out the door, even though I wasnt rude or angry in the slightest bit when dealing with her. Needless to say I wont be returning, and recommend everyone to save their money. Note to management: please exercise some quality control in your food, and from one business owner (me) to the next, POOR MANAGEMENT CAN BREAK A BUSINESS. What a let down... Food review: chicken was full of fat doesnt look like they trim at all (pretty much a cheap version of Sarku Japan, which I love). Spring rolls were overly oily and lacking flavor. 1.5 stars at best for the food, no seriously...

I phoned in my order to go, including the quintessential pho beef noodle soup. When I arrived, I was greeted by Francis, the chef/owner, as he tended to his herb garden. I assure you that if you spend a few minutes to talk with him, youll be glad you did. Hes passionate about the food he prepares and the experience his customers receive. When I got home 15 minutes later, the true test was about to begin. I told my wife, "I hope this is good, because Francis is awesome, and I want to go back". As I peeled the lid off the piping hot broth, the delicious aroma of beef, anise, cinnamon and other flavors filled my dining room. I poured the broth over my other fresh ingredients, and noticed that there was no sediment at the bottom of the container. This is the sign of a skillfully prepared broth with well infused flavors. The taste was even more wonderful than the smell, and I highly recommend refraining from adding the hoisin and sriracha. The broth is amazing by itself, and those other strong flavors would only mask its own greatness. Im going to stop my review here, because youre obviously in the mood for Vietnamese food. Treat yourself right and go say "hi" to Francis now.

This place is a one of a kind and Ill explain why. First off, its the only place in the area that DOES NOT USE MSG in any of their food. They give you large portions at one hell of a price. What also makes this place even better is the level of service you receive from Francis the owner and his staff. His genuine and sincere level of service makes you want to keep coming back, oh and did I mention all of the dishes taste great becusse of the quality ingredients he uses. Ive dined at over 20 vietamese places in th area, this one tops them all. Check it out next time youre in the Fairfax close to GMU.

The place is lively with window walls for a scenic view of the bustling city life, while at night, light reflect on the windows creating a cozy atmosphere. There is a side bar with variety of foreign flavor. The food is tasty and its cooked without any artificial flavor enhancer, like MSG. Id recommend the beef pho soup with the garnish basil leaves and bean sprout. The staff is polite and friendly--so is the manager!

The pho was uninspired. The aromatics were not very pronounced, and only came with one beef selection - eye of round, meatballs and brisket. The noodles were the right consistency, but the onions were sliced a bit thick, bc and never softened in the broth fully. The bahn mi was tasty, but I dont have enough experience with it to give a good break down or to evaluate it on any sort of scale.

The pho is great here... large serving size, fancy bowls (posting pic). I have both eaten in and gotten takeout. Their Thai tea is also good. The only thing I dont like is that it can be very loud... the chairs on the floor make a lot of noise and it echoes. But the food and service make up for it. My go to pho place in the area. Its right across the street from GMU on 123.

Although I usually get pho at a Vietnamese restaurant, the Pad Thai looked good. I ordered that, the shrimp summer rolls, and a lemonade soda. Everything was so fresh and delicious! The staff was also very pleasant and inviting. Will be back again, for sure! With the winter months ahead, love to know that delicious, piping hot pho is just short distance away...

Just tried the beef pho. It was delicious. I have been trying to find a good pho restaurant in NOVA for a while, and I think I just did. Best broth and noodles by far, and thr meat is in the top 90%. Staff was very nice and actually paid attention to the customers. Owner is a really cool guy too. Next time I will try the Pad Thai and update this review.

We were happily impressed and really enjoyed our veggie tofu and chicken pho dishes while our son had a beef sandwich. Shrimp tempura appetizer was piping hot and super crunchy as well. I think it will be a great place to visit with my clients if we are in Fairfax area looking for homes. Overall a great experience with pleasant staff!

1. On a not busy Monday night, it took them 40 minutes to serve my pho and fried rice(made my friend wait in airport very long time) 2.Pho is not authentic. They even didnt give me the bean sprouts and basil side for Pho. 3. Found a piece of short hair in my takeout Pad Thai. Very gross :( 4. The waitresses are very nice though.

Super yummy. The fried chicken wings are incredible and our favorite part. We also had the pork sandwich which was delicious!!!!! The staff was super nice and smiley. The wine heavy hand poured and in a giant glass which my wife appreciated. Great restaurant which we will definitely be back to!
