Very friendly staff, best chicken in town. Better than Lees and KFC, and the sandwich beats Chik Fil A or however the hell you spell it. Speaking of Chik Fil A, this place is NOT closed on Sunday. On the seventh day, the Lord rested, but some people want a little Golden Skillet on the Sabbath. Being able to play the vintage Ms. PacMan machine while awaiting your order earns bonus points for this establishment.

We have now eaten at this location twice. Both times have been excellent! Great service and food all around. My husband and I both got the Chicken Sandwich and hush puppies. The sandwich is probably the best chicken sandwich that we have both ever had. This will definitely be a new favorite!

I stop by Golden Skillet at least once a month when I am on that side of town for work. The chicken is the same great recipe from when the chain was located all over the Richmond area. The food is always tasty, prepared quickly and the owner and staff are friendly.

Called golden skillet to place an order was put on hold for approximately10 mins and then they hung up on me without returning to the phone. When i called back several times, it went to voice mail. Very poor customer service. They deserve a zero.
