It is difficult to share this as I am afraid you will find what I find each and every time my family visits Karens. The food is always amazing, the service is prompt and delightful and the prices are crazy affordable! And if that were not enough, it has that special gift of making one feel they are home. Its getting more difficult to come in and not have to wait for a table so please feel free to ignore this review. Bruce

Love going to this place. The chef in the back can cook! Nothing fancy and its honest food. Great staff! Not open on Monday - keep that in mind. The value is outstanding and the community around it supports it! Junior (Karens husband) is a fixture and loves to talk to the tables. Update: 09/24/2016: Just found out today that Junior passed away 09/20... just under 2 weeks after my review.

Great food and great service every time I go. I tried the salmon cakes for breakfast on my last visit..omg delicious! I felt like they put all their love right into their cooking . Like I was supposed to go wash my plate and go take a nap upstairs when I was done eating..except I wasnt at home and they dont have an upstairs.

I eat there all the time and never had less than a delicious meal. The staff members are all friendly. Ive never had a bad experience there. Their breakfast is great, lunch is awesome, and dinner is amazing. I recommend their BBQ chicken or their fried oysters

Had breakfast here with my hubby on a Sunday morning. Service was fantastic, the prices were very reasonable, and the food was delicious! The grits we cooked to perfection! We will definitely visit again!
