I wouldnt have even given one star if that was an option. Im at the massey center cancer hospital and I asked the nurses what were good places to get food from. They suggested I call china dragon and just tell them to deliver to the hospital because they do so very frequently. As soon as I said the massey center cancer hospital she got an attitude and asked me like I was incompetent what the address was again not explaining she wasnt aware of the address. I then said I wasnt sure what the address was and she cut me off before I could even finish my sentence and said If you dont have the address we wont deliver to you very rudely. Had she let me finish my sentence I was saying give me just one second and Ill look it up. I was so thrown off by her attitude I just said have a nice day and hung the phone up. I wish I had gotten far enough to write a review about the food. I dont normally wrote reviews about places that are negative and am normally very forgiving. But no one should work in customer service if they are going to behave themselves to poorly.

I am not a big Chinese food lover. In fact, I dont like it much. But this place tastes good. I just had it today. The Shrimp Fried Rice and the Shrimp Egg Foo Young. They were both good. When you see native people eating the cuisine then you know it is authentic or either very close to it. I have seen several Asian people eating here and you dont typically see that. For instance if you go into a Mediterranean restaurant on several occasions and never quite see Mediterranean people eating there ever, well it probably isnt authentic tasting. But I like it. Everybodys taste buds are different. Like DC people like Mambo sauce with their fried chicken wings from the Chinese carryout and I dont see what is so special about Mambo sauce at all, it tastes like sweet chili sauce with a hint of ketchup... but to each his/her own... Btw, for the best Indian cuisine in town, go to RUCHEE EXPRESS on Midlothian!!!!

I ordered delivery from this restaurant and here is my review: The Good: Cost- most of the items on the menu are standard prices for Chinese delivery. Very affordable indeed. Portion size- You get a reasonable amount of food for what you pay for. Order/Delivery- One thing that separates this restaurant from most Chinese takeout/delivery is that you can place orders online. After placing the order, the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was hot. The Bad: Taste- the food wasnt terrible, but it was far from great. There was nothing special about the taste of the food. It is your average run of the mill Chinese restaurant. Overall- While the food is far from special, the restaurant delivers in a reasonable time, the food is hot and its cheap. If you are hungry you will like this place. If not, you might want to order elsewhere. THREE STARS.

Me and my mother just moved here so were kind of testing different chinese places to see which one is best. Were not food snobs, but oh my god, what was delivered to us from China Dragon was literally inedible. The beef lo mien smelled and tasted like rotten fish, the fried dumplings, while looking fine on the outside, had the shriveled and dry insides of some kind of mystery meat. The best thing we got from this place was the boneless ribs, which were hard as rocks and drenched in some unidentifiable sauce. I never really write reviews on restaurants since different people like different things, but DONT order from this place. We literally had to dump everything it was so disgusting. Dont waste the money! Go somewhere else.

Out of all the places we ordered Chinese take-out from, this is the definitive bottom of the barrel. The two times we ordered from them, few months apart, they managed to get worst. The first time was bad for all the usual recent, the beef is way too salty and drench in oil, while the chicken was just a blob of food coloring with no flavor. Their rice and noodles are at least edible. The second time though, we found a container smells like ashtray and some dirty under a piece of the broccoli. Something is not right in that kitchen. DO YOURSELF A FLAVOR, order from some other place, get McDonalds, whatever.

Prompt delivery and currently the best delivery chinese food in richmond. We started ordering here a couple months ago after we got tired of the (now mysteriously bad) food at Panda Garden. This really is the best quality deliver chinese food Ive seen in this town in a few years. Food is well cooked, everything looks and tastes fresh. Being able to order online is a plus too. I understand that at one time they were pretty bad. The new menu mentions they are under new management, so if its been a while, check back in and give them a try. Its as good as delivery chinese gets in this city.

We get delivery from here all the time. Their food is seriously GOOD. You know how sometimes some Chinese food has a weird "twangy aftertaste"? Well, that has never happened here. I especially love their soups - the best wonton soup I have ever had. My co-workers and I wont order from any of the other Chinese places around here, only this one. Only drawback is occasionally the woman who answers the phone gets a little rude but the food is totally worth putting up with her once in a while.

Service from the youngest girl in there working is below a 1. She is very rude when talking on the phone with customers concerning there food and special arrangements. As of 9.9.15 I will never step foot back in this facility. Upon getting back to work for my lunch break I go to inspect my food AND FIND BUGS not 1 but BUGS IN MY FOOD THAT HAD BEEN COOKED. NO APOLOGY FROM HER JUST WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO ITS A FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS. AVOID BY ALL Means !!!!

Since I moved to Scotts Addition, this has been my spot. Their Lo Mein is great and my food arrives piping hot to my door. Telephone etiquette is also a plus (not rushing me or asking me to repeat myself). Some dishes I do not prefer from them such as the Double Sauteed Sliced pork, but he General Tso Wings are awesome, as well as the Chicken and Broccoli is also a good choice. I eat here 2-3 times per month and I have yet to have any major issues.

Ordered a few times from this place before and their food was decent. Driving home today from the mall and thought picking our food up was a good time saving idea... The place smelled funky, but not too far off the norm of Chinese takeout places. Then I took a peak into the kitchen, since there were some loud noises... Holy rats! I saw like two or three of them running out of the kitchen! Probably being chased out...

Used to order from them from time to time, deliver in reasonable time. However, recently there seems to be a change of personnel now the food is unbelievably bad. The doughy half raw General Chaos chicken was INEDIBLE! Might give them another chance maybe in half a year and will update if they got better. But for now, STAY AWAY!!!

Ordered from them yesterday and quite disappointed. The chow mein is way too salty and the lobster sauce has ZERO flavor. Have to say that their special fried rice hits the spot. But one out of three is not a passing grade. On the other hand the delivery guy is timely and good manner, still cant make up for the food.
