The service was horrible on my second visit. Im a VP of a major restaurant company and visited this restaurant with my wife on my off day out of my executive dress code. We waited 20 minutes to be acknowledged by the rudest server Ive ever encountered in my life. After trying to order the same items we previously ordered on our first visit, we were rudely interupted and told we cannot be served such. So I mentioned that this is not the first time we ordered these items. Then we were told oh you can order and add on. Then the young lady snatched up her order taking pad and left without asking if that was all we wanted to order. No we were not finished ordering either. So my wife said lets just leave. And so we did. They will never get my business again and I will inform all my business partners and friends not to support this business in our community. Yes I brought it to the managers attention and he was just as bad as his staff was. Never reassuring me of any action and or trying to correct the situation. I guess in this economy my black money is not as good as the other green money coming from different patrons. Well I will just be one less customer for them to worry about.

The good, good atmosphere, decent beer selection for the food genre. The bad, just ok service, rather aloof waitress, but attentive manager. The main reason I am giving negative review is this. I ordered bourbon chicken, not traditionally a spicy one. It was super spicy and I can usually take the heat. Manager got chef to make me a less spicy one and said " yeah, it depends on the mood the chef is in, sometimes he will make it spicy, sometimes he wont" ok...what? I would could back to a restaurant I enjoyed a dish at for what reason...consistency. This sounded like complete crap to me, so I asked my neighbor who happens to be a French chef to make sure I wasnt missing the latest Richmond trend and he laughed and agreed with me. I just cant get behind this mentality for a restaurant. get less lazy chefs and your golden, there is potential here.

I have a shellfish allergy and eating asian food is often challenging because shrimp is a common hidden ingredient. And a common ingredient. I was very pleased that the menu clearly marked dishes that had hidden shellfish in the ingredients and my server was very helpful, going back to check on a couple items to ensure they were safe for me to eat. I really appreciated that they take shellfish allergies very seriously. On top of that, the food was very delicious and the servers were attentive. I only wish I could give them more stars.

The food is good, but I got upsold on broccoli of all things. "Oh basil beef, great choice, do you like broccoli?" Yea, I do. "Want to include broccoli?" Sure I guess. Lo and behold, "+ Broccoli $1" on the bill. Im pretty sure that isnt stated on the menu, but please correct me if it is. I can understand upselling extra cheese, another thai tea, or bacon/links to an order of pancakes, but broccoli, and in a non-obvious way? Come on man.

Great alternative to your classic Chinese takeout restaurants that are at every corner or stripmall. Modern atmosphere with a fresh take on Chinese dishes that are surprisingly tasty. Staff are great and bar has really good selections. If your bored of the regular old Chinese places you always see or looking for something new and refreshing then give this a shot. Im definitely glad I did.

After reading other reviews I thought the food here would be spectacular. It was good but nothing out of this world. Also I envisioned it being much bigger based on the pictures I had seen but I found the restaurant to be very small with limited seating (not sure about the private rooms). Ill probably go again and try some of the menu favorites but outside of that I had an average experience.

Great place, took the wife and kids there coming from NY. The food was tasty and unique. The drinks were marvelous, and the staff was excellent. I definitely recommend this place to anyone with an eclectic sense of taste and ambiance. We love eating out fortunately we found a great restaurant through google map and reading other customers reviews.. Two thumbs all the way up

Numb numb beef ramen bowl is incredible!! Delicious! But beware..the waiter says hot he means HOT!!! The fei-lone beef was full of huge pieces of beef and a glossy sauce!! It was also pretty spicy! We enjoyed Dragons Breath chicken wings as and app. My daughter had sauteed broccoli in garlic sauce that cooks not be beat! Fat Dragons is one to try!

Not a fan of the typical clientele. Most hipsters and trendistas. That being said the bar staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. They made one of those annoying cocktails that most bartenders hate, and didnt even blink. The food is good. The atmosphere is decent. Overall a good place for groups or couples to hang.

Definitely enjoyed Fat Dragon. Very cool atmosphere; very hip. The food was rich and juicy, and everything had just a hint of spiciness. Most everything we got was great. I should mention the downside of the menu being a bit restrictive, so give it a glance over before you go, and dont be afraid to try some new things.

Probably good but 30 minute wait turned into an hour wait which then turned into an hour and a half and wasnt stopping there. I understand if theyre busy, but transparency is key and to just have hostesses shrug their shoulders and look powerless is not reassuring as to the overall quality of the establishment.

This is one of my most favorite restaurants in Richmond; my friends and family even threw me a surprise party here! Im obsessed with the green beans and every dish I have ever tried has been delicious. We like to come here for the happy hour specials as well and the bar staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

Definitely enjoyed myself here. A lot smaller than it looks, but you dont feel like you have everyone sitting right next to you. The food you get for the pricing is a LOT! Its good too, and the drink selection, while not as expansive as Mekong or Capital Ale, is pretty repetitiveness for anyones choice.

Love this spot. Unfortunately so does everyone else. Good food, really good. Terrific cocktails mostly in the $9 range. Kids enjoy the fried rice, soups and firecracker shrimp. Mama loves the beer. Has a small side room that can comfortably hold 15. Nice for a birthday. Happy hour deals til 7 weekdays.

Food was great with huge servings! The atmosphere was very comfortable and the service was incredibly attentive. I ordered the tangerine chicken. It was super hot, fresh out of the kitchen and included lots of vegetables and mushrooms that were cooked perfectly. The sauce had a great kick too.

The food is amazing - full of flavor and comes out piping hot! Excellent happy hour specials and great service, my bartender was excellent with recommendations! Cannot speak highly enough of this place - great relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, and a MUST GO if living in or visiting Richmond!

The food is pretty original and I like the atmosphere inside. However, I was hugely disappointed when I ordered carryout. I picked it up, paid and took it home just to find out that my entree was wrong, my rice was missing, and the wonton soup was skimped on! This was a $30 disappointment.
