Pitango, or at least this Pitango, has the best cappuccino in Reston. The gelato is also excellent. I dont eat a lot of sweets but my wife and kids love it so the recommendation is pretty solid. My daughter asks in particular for Pitango. This brings me to my one complaint: the kids size was discontinued but needs to come back in some fashion. Kids in the 3 to 8 age range definitely do not need an entire scoop. The dynamics of sharing gelato between kids is possible but a challenging option and makes a visit less pleasant. It has really cut down on our visits...which is a downer as I dont get my cuppa :/

If you havent had gelato, you are missing out in life. As fast food is to fine dining, ice cream is to gelato. Pitango Gelato represents gelato wonderfully. The constantly have new flavors. Their gelato is rich and flavorful but not overpowering. You are welcome to taste various flavors before making a selection. The staff have always provided a smiling face, eager to help and provide recommendations when needed. They keep the food prep and serving areas very clean which is a constant task when working with frozen foods. The bathrooms are also very clean.

When I first walked into heaven, the smell of afagato filled the air , I danced as I took my first bite, skipping out under the towns lights. I ran back in and kissed the gelato god behind the counter with my lips that were dripping in chocolate. I told him I loved him as I hummed a little tune,. And as I left, just like that my cup was empty and I dropped to the ground crying out to the sky and thanked god for bistowing on me this humbling experience.

Tucked back a little out of the way at Reston Town Center is one of the best coffee shops in the Reston. The flavors are amazing and the staff are extra friendly. The selection is excellent. Do yourself a favor and order an Affogato (espresso drink with a scoop of gelato) or just enjoy gelato on its own neither is a bad option.

I love their Chocolate Hazlenut Gelato. Since it is centrally located in one of the buzzing areas of Reston Town Center. You will always find crowd coming for cup of Hot Coffee/Chocolate or Gelato. They do have some trophical flavors too which is worth tasting or trying out. Staff is very friendly.

While Im fairly certain they are a chain, this one is pretty good. I normally get their cardamom and cinnamon gelato flavors mixed in a cup, but it depends on how sweet you like your gelato. They also serve coffee but I havent seen anyone actually order any anytime I come.

Amazing coffee, gelato and hot chocolate. I have extremely high standards for coffee and have a pretty lengthy ritual for my morning pour over. This is one of the only places I have ever been to that makes anything even close to what I craft at home.

The owner is very passionate about his gelato, lattes, and teas. He was very eagerly instructing his barista how to make the swirls in the coffee...they went through a couple of them practicing. A little on the pricey side for the gelato.

Fantastic gelato of regular and unusual flavors, amazing sorbets. Gelato rivals those I had in best gelaterias in Florence, Padua, Este, Riccione and other Italian cities. A great place to cool down during a bike ride along W&OD trail.

Extremely expensive, but at least they try to fill up your cups. Service is ready to help the second you walk in. Be sure to ask for samples on ones youd like to try. The gelato/sorbets itself are pretty good. Lots of unique flavors.

They had a really great selection of flavors to choose from. I chose cardamom and chocolate hazelnut which tasted kind of like Nutella. Plus I received excellent service, I would definitely come back!
