First time trying Penn Station subs, and most likely my last. The place is fine, ok service, pretty clean space with the exception of a half eaten sub sitting on table near the register while I waited for my food that never got cleaned up. I was not impressed with the food. It was greasy and slimy and everything kept squishing out of the sub as I tried to eat it. I guess I just had higher expectations for subs that cost twice as much as Subway for half the amount of food.

The space itself is clean, relatively speaking. I came in on a Saturday about 1:30pm and it wasnt very busy. The service was apathetic at best and the younger guy who made my sandwich was sloppy and didnt pay attention to what I actually ordered. The meat was not good quality, the fries were greasy, over cooked and not seasoned. I dont think Ill be a return customer. I miss Philadelphia Mikes that was in this space before Penn Station.

Food was fresh hot and tasty, but not great. And its dirty my shoes kept sticking to the floor when I would stop for a couple of seconds. Even the glass of the front door was smeared where someone had attempted to clean, but they dont know how to clean properly. If I had seen the Mens bathroom before ordering, I probably would have walked out Would I go back, probably not. Cleanliness is a Big thing for me.

Ive gone here twice. Both times they couldnt read the name Jake, so Im left standing there for 15 mins and finally have to ask. And then my lunch break ends. And the food is NOT worth the price. With all the competition, youd think they would try harder. Save your money for one of the better sub places in the area.

I really enjoyed their Philadelphia Cheesesteak - it was well-seasoned, meaty, and topped generously with Provolone cheese! Yum! The side of hand-cut fries were alright, but make sure these are made fresh to order. Service was super friendly!

Theres nothing wrong with this place, I guess I was expecting more from their cheese steak. Its average at best, and its their signature item. Service wasnt bad, I guess I just had higher expectations for a sub shop in the zip code.

Two workers on a Saturday at lunch time, no fries available, no urgency, no apologies. Perfect example of a franchise headed out of business unless employee changes are made.
