HORRIBLE FOOD & CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!! I purchased food from this restaurant, when I got home it tasted old and smelled funny. The meat was tough and chewy, the rice was mushy and it was just disgusting. I immediately called the restaurant to notify them, expecting they would tell me to return it, however, I was spoken to very disrespectful. The person on the phone called me a liar and refused to allow me to speak with him speaking over me throughout the entire conversation. I told him I was returning it and he dared me to come back stating he wouldnt give me a new order nor return my money. As a former customer of this restaurant, I find it completely ignorant and arrogant to lose future business over a small food order. This, however, is a testament to their lack of customer service, professionalism and appreciation for the community they SHOULD be in service of. I will NEVER return to this restaurant again, because I care about the quality of the food I consume and on principle, as this was by far THE WORSE FOOD I HAVE EVER EATEN and MY WORSE COSTUMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE...EVER. Unfortunately, the management/owners dont run their "business" on principle, quality food, respectful communication or customer service. In fact, he seemed insulted that I complained, as if I had no right to expect fresh and edible food. I hope my review provides you some insight into my experience with J & JS CHINESE located at 9118 JEFFERSON DAVIS HIGHWAY, RICHMOND VA 23237, as I dont generally take the time to review businesses even when the service is sub-par, but this experience was so blatantly nasty and disrespectful, I felt it necessary to share. I wish there was a rating less than 1 because a 1 is being extremely generous!

I ordered Fried Dumplings and Beef chow mein..The only thing I can say is that it is hot. Ive had better chow mein out of a can. no bean sprouts and no flavor. mostly chopped celery maybe bamboo shoots that were hard and no water chestnuts. the dumplings were edible... they probably came out of a bag. I asked for fried noodles for my chow mein and they sent me plain white rice. I wish I had paid with a credit card instead of cash I would challenge the charge... yes it was THAT BAD!

Moo goo gain pan.. had only mushrooms and chicken. ..and the mushrooms were huge . . very disappointed ... should have veggies and be a white sauce.. wow wont do this again. No flavor .. and the man who delivered was rude.. ordered red house last time and it was amazing. . I dont recommend this restaurant. . I work to hard to pay 15.00 for such

Ordered moo goo gai pan and it ended up being a pile of mushrooms with a few pieces of chicken on top. No veggies. Called the place back and the guy was rude. Horrible. I expect to get what I order, especially when I tip 50 percent of the bill. Thanks jerks.

Im a Chinese and I like their special kind of Chinese food. They also have excellent noodle soup. They have American hamburger and fried chicken. You can both enjoy Chinese and American food there. I will go there again and again.
