202 miles. That is exactly how far it is from my house to this Popeyes. I love Popeyes and have visited dozens of them up and down the East Coast. I even live near 3 in Pennsylvania, but none that can hold a candle to this location. While returning from a trip to Va. Beach, Va, we had the good fortune of needing to fill up the tank and pulled off I-295 to do a WAWA run. Thank heavens that the kids saw this Popeyes and it was near lunch time. Absolutely amazing. Everything was the way that it shows on the commercial. The place was spotless, the people behind the counter appeared to love their jobs and the chicken was the best ever. I almost gave negative reviews about a Popeyes in Va. Beach last week, but I didnt want to waste my time complaining. No room for complaints at the Mechanicsville, Va. location. These folks know how to live up to the hype of your commercials.

I like Popeyes chicken, though our kids think it a bit spicy for their tastes. This location produces typical Popeyes fare, but the service can be inconsistent sometimes... meaning the drive through can be really slow, and going inside not much better even when you are only like third in line. Other times its quick... guess it depends on who is working at the moment.

Every Popeyes I go to I always have to wait for them to cook 5 wings the #4 on the menu. However, its a 12 min wait but I dont understand why they cant have wings cooked and ready. But this is the best Popeyes to order your food from never had a problem with getting my order correct unlike other Popeyes. The price for Popeyes food is also expensive!

I have been patronizing this Popeyes since February and I can say they have been on point every single time. Hot, fresh food. Quick service. And all the employees have been very friendly and helpful (they always make positive comments about my car too, so that helps :) ). I will continue to come here and I hope they keep up the good work.

Worst visit EVER! We have had several issues in the past with missing items. Gave it another try today. My husband went inside to order, placed the order and stood there for almost 10 minutes before they started putting our order together. Then got home and missing food. Extremely upset!

I stop after work it was 9.10pm. I spend $30.32 on 11 pc meal tenders and a 4pc combo for a friend of mine. I got no biscuit, no gravy for mash potatoes, and we wait for our order 15 minutes. Thanks for reading!!

The service at this location is remarkably inconsistent. Items are frequently missed and the wait for onion rings is always waaay longer than quoted. Too bad because the food is tasty when they get it right.
