To begin with my family and I eat here pretty often, usually about twice a month. The food was decent except for my whole dinner was swimming in water from the lettuce not being drained. My main complaint though is our waiter was horrible! He acted as though we were an inconvenience, my husband ordered water with lemon, then we had to ask two more times before he got the lemon. My son ask for a sweet tea and we had to flag the waiter down in order to get a refill. Once we had finished our dinner the waiter was nowhere around so we waited over 10 minutes then figured we would go to the counter and let them chase him down so we could pay. Our meal was $44.58, which is normal for a family of 3. I hope Jose now realizes I dont tip for bad service because I left him nothing. The rating of a 3 was for the food, if I could rate the server he would have received a negative. Im sure it will be awhile before we visit again, if ever.

When I first moved to Richmond, VA over 20 years ago, the only Mexico Restaurant was on Forest Hill Avenue. When we moved to the other side of town, our visits to one of our all-time favorite restaurants were less frequent. We are thrilled that there are now several different locations throughout Richmond and the surrounding counties, including our Mexico Restaurant that is just 5 minutes away! We are weekly regulars and love the friendly, warm staff and the inviting atmosphere! The prices are great, the drinks are superb, and the food is always hot and delicious. You definitely need to try the white sauce with the chips when you are waiting for your meal to arrive. Definitely a highlight for every visit and the margaritas are fantastic!

So after robbing a bank and crossing state lines and becoming a fugitive. My partner and I got really hungry. So we pulled over the first exit off 295 N and found this Mexican place. Well what can we say. The service was faster than the speed of light and the food was amazing. Heck my taste buds had multiple orgasms. Anyways. We were in a hurry so we ate fast packed the rest and jumped in our getaway vehicle so we could continue on our adventure. TLDR: Great place. Amazing customer service. Tasty food. P.S: crime part is "not true" just wanted u guys to actually read and pay attention ;) enjoy the place.

Toca Tuesdays are busy. Long wait to be seated. Name was skipped over had to ask status of name 2 times before finally being seated. Once seated waiter came gave us drinks, asked if we needed few minutes. Few minutes turn in to 20 before waiter returned. 5 people ordering two tacos each took 25 more minutes. We were able to consume two baskets of chips and received almost two refills before food came. (Departue) As we stood in line cashier saw us, but proceeded to wait on people who were not in lne. Needless to say I wont be visiting this Mexico again.

Gross. If youve ever had decent Mexican food stay away. The food has no flavor and is very bland. We should have known when our food came out in less than 5 minutes, my husband said his burrito was microwaved. Our waitor hovered and when we asked for more time he was back in less than 30 seconds trying to get our order again. Even the front greeter looked miserable and didnt smile the whole time we were paying. There are much better restaurants in the area, dont go or youll be disappointed, you can make better food at home!

Ate here Saturday for lunch. Our waiter was incredibly rude and barley spoke. The food was mediocre and tasted like everything came out of can. Went to pay and was surprised at how rude the, Im assuming, manger who rung us up was. Will not be returning and definitely do not recommend.

Average to above average food depending on what you order (compared to other Mexican restaurants in the general area). Comfortable, friendly atmosphere with pretty attentive service. Very popular with locals. Dollar taco night on Tuesdays. Usually get your food pretty quickly.

Not sure why, but it seems every time me and my fiance come to eat here the servers give me nasty stares & will talk to my fiance but barely acknowledge Im there. Use to be my favorite Mexican place, but I guess Ill have to go to a different location to feel welcomed.

This place constantly messes up takeout orders. The disconnect between the kitchen staff and front desk staff is absurd. They forget to enter or give you your meals and you end up with less food than you ordered, or the food is simply not entered in the first place.

Hands down, the BEST Mexican restaurant in the area. Server seemed a little inattentive but food was fast, delicious and priced well! Wish it was closer to Arlington, VA, if it was my family would be regulars!

Food was very very good. Just enough spice. Would highly recommend the beef chimi and texacanos fajitas. Guacamole was fresh and tasty. Service was great.
