Layered Cake Patisserie never fails to go above and beyond. I first ordered 300 macarons for my wedding 2 years ago, and they were AMAZING. Not a scratch or dent on a single macaron, consistent flavor, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. After that order, I was pretty impressed, so I always go in for coffee OR THEIR AMAZING CROISSANTS (MUST TRY!!!!!). My usual special occasion cake baker retired, so I ordered a Dr.Seuss themed cake and a sheet cake for my nephews birthday party from LCP. They were both delectable, but the best part is that the cake looked beyond amazing, it surpassed my expectations! It was a pretty hard cake to make, and everyone loved it! Barbara handled both of my orders. Thank you so much, Barbara, youre the best! I will definitely be a "forever" customer.

Hands down the best bakery in the area. A good mixture of European style pastry/desserts with plenty of classic styles (classic baguettes, raisin au pain, pain au chocolate, eclairs, macaroons, croissants, etc.) as well as those for a more indulgent American palate (bacon and smoked gouda croissant, monkey bread, etc.). The crusts on their pies are amazing and they know how to make a good cup of coffee. You can easily find something to satisfy anyone on their regular menu but check Facebook for seasonal specials and their donut of the week every Saturday.

My husband loves the pie from Layered Cake. Usually I get his crust, but he eats the entire piece. They are small pies, but so delicious - beats local pie places and Wegmans small pies hands down. Just tried the macarons recently and see why folks buy them as well. Croissants are delicious and Ive been getting that last pumpkin muffin when Ive gone in lately. YUM! I finally tried a Latte and it was delicious - didnt have a bitter bite like Ive experienced elsewhere. Looking forward to trying more of the treats from Layered Cake!

Love Layered Cakes offerings from the croissants that take me back to my childhood in French Africa to the excellent macaroons and eclairs. All of it is top notch and wonderfully executed. The pies and cakes deserve praise as well! We gave them free reign on a birthday cake for our daughters birthday and it was absolutely elegant thanks to their skillful decorating. A magnificent addition to Leesburg!

Truly excellent sweets at reasonable prices. In fact, the wife/husband team who owns this have both told me their business philosophy is to keep prices reasonable so everyone can enjoy their food. Best croissant in the local area - flaky, buttery, just like in France. Rich and smooth coffee from a local coffee roaster (small business) in Pville. AND, *everyone* who works here is nice!!!

i have been enjoying the sweets from layered cake from all the farmers markets they have been attending. now they have a storefront and i can come by anytime! leesburg finally has a worthwhile bakery with amazing cakes, cookies, pastries and tarts. you have to stop by, you wont regret it!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. My order was taken effectively and the cake was made exactly as I ordered. The cake was absolutely beautiful and (even better) incredibly delicious. My guests asked for seconds and to take some home. There werent any leftovers.

They have the best pastries in Loudoun County, and probably northern Virginia. They can go toe to toe with any fine patisserie in any major city. Remarkable croissants, excellent macarons, beautiful and flavorful cakes, and a Napoleon worth blowing your diet for!!!

Visit this place you will not be disappointed. One hint though get there early due to them selling out of their Almond or Ham & Cheese Croissants early. Worth traveling out of my way any time Im in Virginia just to get a pastry.
