This company has the worst customer service of any bakery I have ever seen. When there was an obvious mistake with my godsons baptism cake their response wasnt we are sorry let us make it right, it was well sorry want some cupcakes. The cake was supposed to feed 35 but it was a small cake only to feed 20. The decorations and fondant looked like some was learning on the job. There was finger prints in it. Cracks in the outfit and none of the other decorations that were supposed to be there. The owner then commented that fine she guesses she will be up all night making a new one after my sister in law started crying. Then she brings the new cake to the house while the party was going on and she drops off the "new" cake. It was the same cake just with a extra piece added to it and all the fondant and decorations which were wrong were pulled off the old cake and now the cracks were bigger. Not that price is as important but this wasnt cheap either. It was $135 cake that was an obvious after thought to their business since they had wedding cakes to do. They have lost a lot of loyal customers due to this. My sister in law has recommended them to all her friends. Her friends them used them and they completely didnt make the cake! They went to pick up their daughters first birthday cake and they told them they had gotten the date wrong. Even after that my sister in law still gave them the benefit of the doubt and used them. Well never again. I hope anyone looking for a bakery never makes the mistake of using this horrible company. They actually called her to and told her to take her business elsewhere. They are done and we will be reporting them to all appropriate agencies in the Stafford area including the Better Business Bureau.

We have been purchasing cupcakes from Icing for over a year now. In the past we were more pleased with the cupcakes despite the fact they are as little as they are and sometimes are on the very dry side...until last night. It was my daughters birthday and she LOVES the cotton candy flavor they used to carry. Last year when I special ordered them, the minimum order was 6. This year the minimum order was a dozen. When I went to pick them up, I found out the DOZEN cupcakes cost me $27. I wasnt informed of this when I ordered and provided my credit card number. I of course went ahead and took them home. When we sat down for dessert, we all immediately realized something was not right. When I called the bakery to let them know, I spoke to the owner. I let her know who I was and what I had ordered. I then informed her about not being informed of the price when I placed the order and suggested she make sure that is always provided to the customers. I then informed her that while the cupcakes themselves were very good the icing had a funny taste to it, almost metal-like. Her reply was she didnt know how that could be because they had sold tons of cupcakes in the last 2 - 3 days and she had even had cupcakes yesterday and I was the only one complaining. I told her again how we all thought the icing was off. She told me she didnt understand how that could be but would refund some money back to me. While I was grateful for the refund, I found her to be very rude, condescending, and not very concerned with how her customer was being spoken to/treated. Needless to say, I will not be going back there for cotton candy flavored cupcakes, or any other flavor.

Horrible Experience, today tuesday 04/10/2013, I visited Icing to see the cake designs and order a cake for the special occation that I have, I saw the designs and I meet the designer and she gave me the price and she was so nice and professional. The price was out of my budget and I asked her if she can do something with the price and she said that she is gonna talk to her manager and she might be able to do something. After a minute a FAT CHINESE MEAN & UNPROFESSIONAL lady came without saying hi and hello she began shouting that this is our price we are # 1 and we cant give discounts and you cant get Mercedise with the price of Kia and she has to pay bills and pay to all workers, the bills and paying to staff is not my problem I just wanted to see if she can give me discount nothing else. this chinese lady needs to cool down and learn some manners how to talk with customers. I dont know how is she working there with that kind of bad attitude towards customers and I dont know what she thinks of herself. she needs to go back to china to learn manners or she needs to take some manner classes here to better assist customer. I really regret talking to her and she doesnt deserve working there. I dont recommend anyone to talk to this unprofessional chinese lady(im sorry for using chinese lady i dont know her name cos she didnt introduce her she just said she is a mean and unprofessional manager).

I e-mailed and verified over the phone what kind of cake I wanted - an ammo box and my husbands favorite gun. After the lady on the phone (Shannon?) verified with the "artist" that what I wanted could be accomplished and ready by Saturday August 8th, I paid for my order $184.28 u front with my card. I arrived promptly at the designated pick up time to find a big green rectangle as my cake. Supposedly this was a $184 dollar ammo box only (no gun) hideous cake. They did not tell me prior to picking up that they would only be able to make half of my request. Naturally, I was very upset. The ladies in the bakery got the owner on the phone who exasperatedly said "What can do I to help you?". AS there was nothing she could over the phone, she said she would call me Monday August 10th to figure out how to fix this mess. No call. I e-mailed August 16th. Still no reply. This bakery will take your money, make a half-hearted attempt to deliver and if you are not satisfied will completely ignore you. Worst experience with customer service ever. Oh, and the cake was so top heavy and not packaged correctly that it fell over even with the most careful handling.

My husband and I went in about 90 minutes before they closed on a Thursday and split a cupcake (it was just shy of $6 for one cupcake...first strike). The entire time I was in the store, the two ladies behind the counter seemed inconvenienced by my presence. There was no hello, greetings, how can I help you, showing me the flavors, etc. It was like they were annoyed Id even come in...second strike. I felt so uncomfortable that I quickly ordered my cupcake and left. I tried to order a Pupcake for my dog, but they were out...third strike. When my husband and I ate the cupcake, it was nowhere near worth $6, and overly sugary--although thats my fault for not expecting that from a cupcake called "Prozac." Overall, it was just such a disappointment because Ive been trying to come to this place for months, but every time I try to come, theyve been closed (holidays, dinner, etc). Now I finally got a chance to go and it was such a let down. Stafford has always been such a happy, jovial town so Im surprised theres such an unfriendly bakery here.
