Based on the two reviews here, I took my family there anticipating a great meal. (Note: the first time we tried to eat there, it turned out the restaurant was closed on Sundays.) To summarize: China King was a disappointment. There is nothing authentic on the menu, just the usual Americanized selections: you can order without looking at the menu. Everything is laden with sodium; for those trying to eat even remotely healthy foods, avoid this restaurant. My kids, who eat absolutley nothing unless it is Chinese food or hot dogs, barely ate. They cared more for the pretty fish tank than the food. And lastly, the average age of the clientele, before we arrived, was about 50. This seemed a place for the retired or soon to be retired of Leesburg to have a quiet meal uninterrupted by children such as mine who kept saying loudly, "Look at the fishes!" On the other hand, there was one couple who were even louder, yelling at the waiters, smacking their lips, digging into their teeth with their nails, and generally making everything even more unappetizing. Were never going back. You want authentic and good, try Mama Wok in Reston---even Charlie Chiangs in Herndon is better.

Just ordered from here this evening and it was awful. I got an order of general tsos chicken, sweet and sour chicken and combination rice. The sauce for both chickens was way spicier than is typical(to the best of my knowledge both of those sauces are supposed to taste sweet). The sweet and sour chicken appeared to be frozen chicken that youd buy in the grocery store that was baked or microwaved and then thrown in with pineapple and green pepper pieces. This caused the actual meat to be dry and the outer skin to be soggy. The rice was almost black it was so dark brown and had hardly any flavor at all. My whole order totaled $35!! For THREE THINGS! Never again

5 stars for friendly service, reasonable prices in cost inflated Leesburg and great food. I like the steamed chicken and vegetables best but have yet to try all the dishes. The family run restaurant has been here over 20 years and is the best value in old Town Leesburg by far. They have prompt delivery too if you live in the delivery area. Once they got my lunch to me at work in the middle of a snowstorm. I

I like their food and their delivery is quick. Only real problem I have here is the website is poorly designed without a lot of customization features for each dish. Example: I like the Green Pepper Steak with $3 extra beef, spicy and No onions, but theres nowhere I can say No Onions except in the delivery instructions. Please add something to where I can annotate this on the dish itself.

The food is good for a local "American syle" Chinese restaurant - there is a noticeable lack of grease. The veggies are fresh - they have a crunch - and its easy to find pork in your pork fried rice. The service is gracious and attentive. Looks wise its very basic so no problem just rolling in. Just one thing: wish they were open on Sundays.

I love China King and I love the owner! The service is out of this world and the food is fantastic. If MSG is a problem, just ask not to have it and they will accommodate you. I prefer the Chicken Chow Mein, Chicken Fried Rice, and Chicken and Broccoli. Everything is always fresh. This is a must stop when in Leesburg.

China king has some of the best food around. Its fresh, cooked with talent, and served in a nice atmosphere in a nice little city. The prices are higher than average, but the portions are absolutely enormous as well. You will probably need a takeout box. Go there; you wont be disappointed!

Obviously, one doesnt go looking for authentic Chinese food in Virginia, but if you want GREAT americanized chinese food this is your place. Its been perfected over several decades of presence in Leesburg. What another reviewer called a bad atmosphere is actually laid back and homey.

Very good food. Kinda pricey which is why it didnt get 5 stars. Food wise, it tastes great. Delivery is usually very prompt and I love the online ordering. This is and will be my go-to Chinese place in Leesburg. Best in town, for sure. Highly recommend.

I love Szechuan eggplant, and here they do it slightly differently than other places: Quite nice! Service is good, atmosphere relaxed. Prices were very reasonable: 2 dishes (enough for two) with tea and rice came to $22.

Great Chinese in small but comfortable location in picturesque Leesburg. Love wonton soup & sweet/sour chicken. Nice during holidays and winter. Feels like Christmas Story. Just dont sit by front door in winter!

I love this place and the friendly people, especially the owner and delivery guy (they both are extremely kind). I always get the Hunan Chicken (yummy). It truly is the best Chinese place in Leesburg.

Simply, the food is so good. Also, Im so pleased to find the kind of family Chinese restaurant like I had when I was going to share with my kids. My whole family loves China King.
