My family and I moved to Leesburg last summer and had heard about Leesburg Diner from friends. We were excited about it re-opening so we could finally check it out. We did yesterday and I have to say the experience wasnt exactly pleasant. Service was friendly, but it sure as heck wasnt timely. After a 20-minute wait to be seated (which isnt so bad even with two toddlers), we put in our orders. And waited. And waited. And waited some more. Forty minutes went by and we still hadnt received our food. When we finally managed to stop someone to ask about our food, we were told that our order had never been entered. I understand that mistakes happen and that things can get overlooked. But, Im sorry, that kind of delay is just not acceptable to me, especially when I have two hungry toddlers in my party who had already been waiting an hour to eat. To add insult to injury, no one even offered us a discount or anything as recompense. We still paid full price. The bottom line for me: The food was OK -- but definitely not worth a 1 hour plus wait. We wont be going back. If I want a fast and friendly breakfast experience, Ill stick to Waffle Kings Virginia Kitchen in Herndon.

RUN THE OTHER WAY... DONT EAT HERE. Leesburg restaurant used to be great. The renovation is very nice. But unfortunately they ruined the place. The menu is now so limited and overpriced I would never recommend it. They removed the ability to buy a la carte breakfast items.. expect to pay $12 for a mac and cheese that looks like it came out of a kraft box. I found it to be tasteless. There is no kids menu. So if you want mac and cheese for your kid it will be $12. I was even surprised to find their milk shakes were not to my liking. Very very watery and again not much flavor. The ice cream was completely liquified. In addition I have to agree with the assessment of the blonde lady behind the counter who was rude to my wife when my wife asked if we could seat ourselves. (Our waitress was pleasant though) Unless they lower their prices and or add significant a la carte selection I will not be coming back. You are better off somewhere else.

Run Away. The wait was 10 minutes to sit, as nobody could be bothered to wipe down a table. The food is bland & tasteless and "service" is slow. I ordered scrambled egg yolk - I cannot eat egg whites. The waitress asked 3 times what I meant, and I explained each time my unfotunate dietary restrictions. They then brought me out scrambled eggs - never even said "hey - we cant accommodate your request - would you like something else?" Nope - just put the plate down & walked away. When I called them back and asked if this dish included egg whites, they said all we have is egg poured from a carton...which was odd to me as my husband got 2 fried real eggs - when I pointed to his plate, they said, oh, well we were confused. They brought out some crappy yolks that were scrambled in oil - inedible. Took over an hour for this miserable experience to end.

Zero Stars. Went there on Monday afternoon with my child and her friend. The WORST restaurant experience Ive had in a long time. As a restaurant manager myself I couldnt believe how bad the service was. It seemed like the blond server despises her job. So much so that when anyone came in the door she made very obvious frowns and her face got madder by the minute. Why are you a server?? Life is too short- do something you enjoy! We felt like everything was major hassle for her to do. The brunette server was pleasant but was not able to keep up. They didnt greet anyone, people were just left standing at the door not knowing what to do. Food was ok but my ten yr old was given an $11.95 Mac & Cheese even after I had asked for kids menu. Will never be back. Pity- cause we were really excited to try a new restaurant as we just moved to Leesburg.

Came here to enjoy a nice breakfast the first day of summer vacation. There were several empty parking spaces in the rear of the restaurant and we try to park in one of them. A man who was smoking outside blocked our car and said we couldnt park there. We explained we wanted to eat at the restaurant and he reluctantly said we could park there after confirming twice we wanted to eat at this restaurant. When asked if he was the owner he said yes. He was very rude during the whole time and blowing smoke into our car. We decided to eat elsewhere. Very glad we decided against this after reading the other reviews. Will not be returning here.

Without question, the BEST breakfast restaurant in Leesburg. The biscuits and gravy are my favorite but all of it is good. The "Eggs Benny" is delicious and stands out as one of the best breakfast dishes Ive had. The service is always terrific, and the coffee is always good. What more can you ask from a diner? They recently renovated the place and it shows - its modern, but still has that hometown diner feel. Their tuna melt sandwich is fantastic for lunch as well! Huge portions.

Awesome milkshakes but horrible food with the worst onion rings... fish in fish n chips had this weird bread batter, which they used for the onion rings too and fried in the same fishy oil. Medium done cheese burger was extremely dry with no flavor at all. Same with the blackened chicken sandwich which was very dry and didnt have any flavor at all. Saving grace were the fries that came with the Burger and the sandwich!

Horrible, understaffed. Was told by waitress we couldnt sit in back. We didnt want to sit by front door where people were standing. She responded by saying you can just wait then. As we were leaving she proceeded to seat people at the table we werent allowed to sit at. When asked why we couldnt sit there, she responded its a four top. So are the booths.Nasty person, wont be going back anytime soon. Miss the old owners.

If your looking for a welcoming cozy place for Sunday breakfast? Dont go to the leesburg diner . You walk in to a cold mental garage décor with heavy medal music playing has you try and enjoy a relaxing breakfast. The menu is limited so that if your Husband wants eggs , bacon and pancakes you have to buy 2 breakfast for him. A $16.00 breakfast for one ! My review is !! Dont waste your time or money.

We just moved to Leesburg and wanted to find a quick bite to eat. We stopped at Leesburg Dinner in beautiful Downtown Leesburg. Parking is not so great and the service could have been better, the very young wait staff barely greeted us and took a while to bring us our carry out order. The food was great and we were pleased. I suggest call ahead so you wont have to deal with the service.

Make it a true diner and add a simple kids menu for heavens sake. One thing that is very consistent, the rudeness from the blonde host/manager. Every.Single.Time. If its so terrible, quit! You ruin patrons moods. Such a shame.. If only Virginia Kitchen would move to that spot..
