I have been to the Parlor house several time to give it a try before writing a review. It is average...not excellent. They do have an extensive menu and the prices are great. I think maybe the menu is a little to extensive...when having to prepare that many dishes at any given time a lot of things are prepared ahead of time and simply warmed up. They have AWESOME french fries though..we go back just for them..they are the seasoned crunchy kind. Wish they would invest some money in new dishes...our cups were all cracked on each occasion. One word of advice DO NOT try the roast beef dinner...it was HORRIBLE. My husband got a hot roast beef sandwich for $4 something which come with your veggies and I got the roast beef dinner which came with veggies and stuffing. The stuffing was disgusting and the "roast beef dinner" was simply lunch meat laid over my stuffing....mine cost $8 only difference was the stuffing.

I have eaten here probably 20 times. Breakfast is very good, lunch decent, and dinner entrees are average at best. I grew up next to an ocean so maybe i am spoiled but the seafood here is bland and tasteless. While it is a good value (Code-word: cheap) sometimes you get what you pay for. When I am retired and living on a fixed income I might think this is the best place ever, until then I just dont expect miracles out of the place. It is what it is.

I called in at 1045 and was told if we arrived at or before 11 we could get breakfast. I showed up at 1055, had to ask for help because no one could be bothered, and was told no we could not get breakfast because it was 11 by their wall clock which was 5 minutes fast. Luckily, the smell of the place made me lose my appetite. I left and will not be back. If i coukd give it zero stars I would.

I have yet to have a terrible meal at the Parlor House. When you walk into the place it puts you in mind of a dinner from Mayberry where everyone knows each other. The owner is always there and is right beside the employees working he isnt afraid to step in and get the job done Affordable prices. The salmon cakes on Friday are delicious. The best in town!

We moved out of the area, but when we come back to Waynesboro, my kids always pick the Parlor House to eat at. The owner is no stranger to the customers... he is almost always around and makes sure to check in on his guests. We have never left hungry or unsatisfied.

Great home style cooking. Perhaps typical diner food, but always hot and large portions. The service is usually pretty fast but can be slow at times when busy. Owner is usually seen walking around making sure everyone is satisfied.

This is a great restaurant for a family. Me and my family used to live across the road and want there about every day because its so great! The food great too from sandwiches to seafood. Its a very nice Restaurant!
