This is the worse dining experience that I can remember of! Arrived around 6PM and was seated in the "quiet area" we sat for a while (5 minutes) before being greeted by the waitress. She took our order brought our water and went on her way to the "bar" area. Ordered appetizers and that came fairly promptly. Our salads and appetizers came with little plastic cups for dressing and dip?!? Felt like I was at a Wendys. We ate our appetizers and finished them. Our food and waitress was no where to be found for 25 minutes. Water cups went empty. While waiting for our food we noticed Other parties came into the quiet area and were waiting to find someone to help them, after about 10 minutes the quest went to a man and asked for help. Waitress happened to be standing next to him and she said "I know they are there" In the mean time a party of 6? came in and was seated, we watch them sit there for 10 minutes before they asked for help, some old lady said someone will be by to help them. 5 minutes later they still were sitting there drink-less. About the same time a couple of 2 and another party of 3 came in and got the same "special" treatment, wait for 10 minutes while everyone ignores you as they serve the "bar" guest. I can hear the other 4 parties complain about how horrible the service was! Towards the end of our meal, the waitress was very short with us as you can tell she needed to hurry up and serve the bar guest. Needless to say I will never visit the Lion & Bull again. I think when the waitress told me the menu was new that should have been a hint that they were trying to change things up to try to attract more guest. Maybe if they didnt treat their customers like crap people would return.

A group of us were in this restaurant yesterday for an Officer Down Memorial ride and poker run. Absolutely the worst service ever. The place was packed, the wait staff didnt acknowledge us. When we finally grabbed a table that other patrons just left, it took my husband 3 attempts to get someone to clean it off, with the final attempt having all 4 wait staff staring at my husband like he had 5 heads. When the girl finally came over to wipe the table down, she clearly had an attitude problem, wiping the dirt from the table onto my husbands lap and the floor and only half the table was wiped. The previous patrons left food on the table (not on the plate, the table). It took us another 10 minutes to get menus. We were clearly treated like people who werent paying for food (people participating in the poker run got free boxed lunches and brought them into the restaurant to eat, hence not paying for their food). I will go to McDonalds next time. This place wont get another dime of my money!! Heres a tip: Fire the wait staff, and start over. If not, based on the reviews, your business wont last much longer. Terrible service!! Never again!!next time, dont act so shocked that you only got a $4 tip. And the remark from another "reviewer" that they respect the firefighters and police. Wrong!!! no, they dont respect the police officers. One of the riders in our group, at our table, a police officer. FYI. Save your money! I may take this a little further with a hand written complaint to management or owner. Im still pissed about the service.

Definitely not worth checking out. I had to give it one star in order to leave a warning to any innocent folks.......my sis and I came out to have a Friday night out (hoping to find a" new spot")......we go out a lot, eat a lot, drink a lot, spend a lot and tip A LOT.....and we are very easy customers......very polite and respectful since we have both worked in the service industry....anyhow.....we took a table out on the patio, the inside had a pretty bad stench but its a bar so is to be expected.....the place was dead, 2 other tables taken on the patio......two waitresses came by about a dozen times.....and we just sat there being patient because we really wanted to try the place........after about twenty minutes and making lots of awkward eye contact with the waitresses we decided to give up.....thats why I couldnt rate the food or price but did see other customers food and it looked like cafeteria style......and more importantly the beer didnt even have any head on it........its kind of an insult for them to call this a British Pub......well I rambled on more than I meant to because we are stuck in traffic finding somewhere else to go spend all the money we make at. We did see an old lady stumble drunk INTO the restaurant while we were leaving.....pretty funny :)

I heard about the Lion and Bull from a friend. So we decided to come in and eat. It was a saturday night and it wasnt that busy. A table for 3 shouldnt be that hard to seat. After we sat down we noticed it was a borderline hooters with girls in low cut cleavage bootsting shirts, kind of funny. Parents dont bring your kids if you dont want boobs in there face. The service was the worst service we have ever had. Our waitress would forget to bring simple things out like drinks. The food was your average bar food. Nothing spectacular. They were out of about 10 items on the menu ON A SATURDAY. And when we ordered 1 of the appetizers it didnt have the asian noodles that it was supposed to come with which was half the appetizer. I had to ask for a soup spoon from from the hostess after my waitress dropped the soup off and walked away Another problem was the flies swarming around. The lights above where we were sitting were blinding, no intimacy. And the silverware and glassware was spotty. No toilet paper in womans stall. We wanted to stay for the band, but not after the service we experienced. The best part of the evening was leaving.

If you asked me to review this restaurant in the first 10 minutes we were there, I would have given it 1 star. We made reservations almost a week in advance for the Mothers Day brunch. When we arrived, the place was packed, and they had no record of our reservation. After the manager ran around for a minute, they seated us in a corner, with a bench on one side that had arms(how do you get in and out at a brunch??). About a minute after us, a large party of 14 was seated in the row of tables next to us. While we waited, they received silverware, and drink orders were taken. After waiting 10 minutes, I approached the manager about the situation. We were promptly re-seated, and greeted by a waitress within seconds. The food served for brunch was Great!!! Definitely try the Crepes, and Eggs Benedict! Our waitress was attentive, kept the table clear, and our drinks filled. All in all, the staff was able to change what was a very bad experience into a good one! Definitely going to go back and try them again.

I went there specifically to see the band "Whiskey Wild Fire". It was a nice place, everyone was friendly. The wait staff was of coarse on the younger side and thats to be expected so I did wait about 8 mins or so before she came (not a big deal). I ordered 2 apps (FOS & Potstickers)and a drink(goose & cranberry). The drink was very strong which is good for most of us. The food runner brought me the food and he had to run and grab me a spoon(which was fine). I did have to eat the pot stickers with a spoon but it was doable. It really was a blast the band was awesome and everyone was dancing and having fun. Started getting a bit crowded and crazy wild so being a more mature lady I knew when it was time for me to go. I definitely recommend. Cant figure out why some negative reviews are out there must of been before new owners. Cheers
