As a long time patron of Cinema Cafe, I was very disappointed to find that their food prices have gone up, and their portion sized have gone down. We usuallypurchace the family sized chicken finger entree. It used to feed me and my wife plus our two kids with no issues. We actually had leftovers from this purchase. Unfortunately, this has been removed from the menu. We opted for their largest entree, the Mega-plex. Now, we received only three of everything. We were all still hungry after eating this dish. So, I considered buying the chicken fingers to augment my purchase. I asked the waitress how many chicken fingers I received for their $10 asking price. Her response was 4. $2.50 for a single chicken finger is outrageous. I originally went there for the prices. They never had high quality food, but it was affordable. Now that their prices and portions have changed, I will not be eating there again. The waitress told me to complain because she agreed with me on their price changes.

Cinema Cafe in Hampton is easily the best of the Cinema Cafes in the region, and it outclasses the great majority of the regular movie theaters as well. The food is good diner fare, reasonably priced, and that alone gives it the biggest advantage over your run-of-the-mill theater. The service is good, the theaters are clean and spacious and they play first run movies, including 3D. They recently opened a game room area which makes waiting with your kids for a movie to start much less painful. I really cant find anything to say about the place that isnt positive. Looking at some of the other reviews on this page, Im not sure why a problem with the website puts such a drag on their rating, but I guess to each his own....at least the employee was trying to find them the movie they wanted to watch instead of leaving them out to dry.

My fiance and I have been customers of Cinema Cafe - Hampton for a while now. At first, the food was great...then it turned into okay...now we dont eat at all. The cups dont smell clean and the floors are generally always sticky, which is kind of understandable due to them allow us to eat food in there...however, tonight, while watching previews, I noticed a baby cockroach crawling on the floor. I immediately tapped my fiance in disgust. I did not allow my feet to touch the floor anymore until it was time to go! Throughout watching the movie, I was very itchy and nervous because I didnt know where it had went to. Towards the end of the movie, I see ANOTHER COCKROACH! This time is was bigger...Ive read reviews about the roaches, but never believed them until NOW. Be very careful. That is our last time going there.

Decent theater that the wife and I love taking our 3 year old to visit. However, today we took her to see Moana and waited 10 minutes for a server to acknowledge us, nothing. Waited another 20 minutes with our red light on, clearly an indication that one would like SERVICE, at least thats what one would assume. Still, no one came over. My wife got up and went to complain and finally someone came. We WERE going to order food but just used our free popcorn coupon instead since they obviously dont need our money too badly. This is the SECOND time in a row (within 3 weeks, no less) that weve had to ask for service. Well give it one more go, but 3rd time and were off to another theater who will gladly take our money and not only give us service, but acknowledge our existence.

The theater is great except when it comes to the free movie tickets. Some student as well as myself received them in April for having honor roll and I just noticed that it was about to expire, so when I went to use it in the last day it could be accepted, June 16th they say most of the movies will not be covered by passes. Even X Men : Apocalypse, that was released on May 27th, 2016 they wouldnt cover it. The only movies it would cover was Angry Birds, Alice in Wonderland: Into the Looking Glass, Popstar: Never Stop Stopping, Teenage Mutant Nina Turtles, Captain America: Civil War, and the Jungle book. I find this inconvenient because they accepted them the day before. I dont want to think it was deliberate so we would not be able to use them. Please help. Thank you.

Older woman in charge of seating doesnt understand that we come early so we can order our food before the movie starts. She claims that they dont have enough staff to clean the theater fast enough. Something management should figure out since this has been a problem at every newly released movie for the last year. Wait staff is excellent and always attentive. Food is priced at bit high but expected for a movie theater. Arcade game prices are quite over priced in my opinion. Other than the lack of staff they need to get more staff who works the counter and seating area. I think younger staff that doesnt always need to sit down would do them good.

Although my husband and I usually are very fond of the Cinema Cafe, last trip was a disaster. We were not able to get into the movie until ten min.before start time. The family beside us had two small kids, this was an R rated film after 9! The man beside was on his phone,...so we moved. Mind you, this is after we have moved once to allow the whole family sit down. The last open seat was in the front where one of the waitressess was crawling under the table to her friend repeatedly and making noise. I find it hard to expect anyone else to have respect for others in the theatre if the workers themselves can not display manners.

The facility itself could really use an update. The screen and sound were great. The seating concept was also well thought out by giving your server access without blocking your view of the movie for you or those around you. However, the seats felt like sitting on bagged gravel. The food was okay, but not even close to the preparation of other Cinema Cafe locations in the area. The cleanliness of the theater could have also been better. We really enjoy watching movies at the Cinema Cafe, but I seriously doubt that I will return back to this location.

Ummmm. .. what can I say? Most of machines r out of service, u get 1 or 2 tickets per game have in mind u need at least 150 points to earn at least 1 ticket n prizes r kind of expensive, also there is a "bowling alley" which is for kids only I guess (is so small n only 2 lanes), lady in the front is in her own world so there is no sense of urgency at all. Most movies doesnt qualify for Wednesday special, prize for day shows is 5.25 and the highest is for 7.25 at night, the place smell funny.

It was a nice movie theater. The fact that they also sell food is a plus. Ill be honest, in saying, my son and I ate before we got there. I wasnt sure of the prices, and we were hungry lol. Sooo, yeeeaaah. In looking at the prices after we got there, its definitely movie theater prices, so, Im glad we ate before. What wouldve given it 5 stars, is if the chairs could recline. Other than that, it was pretty nice. If you have an extra $35-$40 to spare, go for it.
