I took my young children to the Funville location in Virginia Beach today. I was told my two 3 year olds were not allowed in the toddler area, although the play structure for the older kids was way to big for my little ones. The bigger kids were way to rough and aggressive so my children couldnt play safely. It boasts about the ninja warrior course on the website but doesnt specify theres a height requirement of 5 ft! My two 5 year olds and 8 year old were so upset to find out they werent allowed on the course! Not being allowed to follow my young children around is annoying and unsafe. Ive been to a similar indoor play place with a large play structure and theres no issue with parents going on it to help their children. The staff couldnt keep things orderly so it was just complete chaos. I walked out with a huge headache as I found the experience very stressful trying to ensure my children were safe in an environment that I found to be unsafe. My 5 year olds actually told me they didnt have fun as we walked to our car and asked why the place was so crazy. Forget trying to get a drink, servers are few and far between, therefore service is very slow.

My sister-in-law and I had a joint 4th birthday party for my b/g twins and her son. My kids have never even been there to play so I didnt know what to expect. I just knew that it looked like a fun place for a 4 yr old, it was clean, the party space was large and the packages were reasonable. Funville exceeded my expectations. The kids had a blast and the party attendants (2) were extremely attentive and responsive. If though I was worried that the kids were only getting one slice of pizza (along with a juice box and ice cream), the slice of pizza was fairly large. The 9D movie was fun and the party went along seamlessly. Also, there was a surprise visit from a mascot of our choice (we chose a Minion) that was a huge hit with the 15 kids aging from 1 yr to 12 yrs. We had and awesome time and I would definitely recommend Funville for a birthday party or just a casual afternoon play place.

This place is awful cant imagine why it has so many stars. Big area you have kids clearly over age whaling balls at everyone running others over and the infant ball out same thing I cancelled my sons party last year decided to make a return to see. (Made a mistake) parents arent around in and I guess they take that as I dont need watch my child. Wish I can give negative stars along with 4 other parents around me. The other mom I was sitting next to got hit in the face with a ball in the bouncy house staff was notified nothing done then a 13 year old pushed my son extremely hard nothing was done didnt expect it to be I didnt even say anything the other parent did as I just left. He has a bruise on his stomach for being pushed. One great job prenting with the people who come here and two horrible young staff. Cant complain enough!

They have no cafe on chips and drinks, they are over priced for what they offer and the most ridiculous part is they have no outlets like a cafe with WiFi would. Many times Ive tried to use their WiFi with no success. Whats the point of offering free WiFi if you dont have an outlet to charge your device. I also want to note that they a wide open access into the mall and now that adults are not allowed to go into the play area, it seems like a major hazard. Dont think we will be taking our son back, too much hassle to make sure he alright.

This place was pretty fun, but the carrots that came with our hummus plate was completely unedible and they didnt replace them or discount the cost for them, and they want nursing mothers to use a specific room to nurse babies, which the floors were clean but overall it was pretty dirty and I was uncomfortable being in there and next time Ill just nurse my baby at my table with my cover. Other than those things it was pretty fun and the kids enjoyed themselves.

Absolutely love this place. Clean, safe and outstanding customer service. If you are looking for a safe and unbelievably fun place to plan your childs next party or just have fun any day this is the place to go to. So impressed and my family loves it. Completely different type of equipment, we love their 9D theater and ball shooting arena. Funvill is our Number 1 spot from here on!

Typically a good place to play but when my kids are told they cant play together in the floor because mega blocks are only for 1 sister not the other two... or when im told im given special treatment because my youngest daughter is too close to the other toys. You explain to a 1 yr old why shes scolded by an employee every time she goes near her sisters.

I took my child to play at funville on 4/17/17. The place was great but the staff was terrible. There were a few kids there with their parents as well. The young lady was very rude, inattentive, and mean. I think she was the only one working I guess she was the manager. I wouldnt go there again as long as she is working there.

Huge play place, with tons of fun ways to play. Lots of climbing areas, ramps, slides, nets and tubes. Zipline, ball rockets, swinging tree, and bounce castle. Paid 9.99 for all day access to playground. Wrist band grants 10% dicount at food court pizzeria Bumper cars and cinema are extra.

Chesapeake location was amazing. My son was is only 2 but is super tall and afraid of the big play area. Due to it being slow was allowed to test out both areas. He had a blast and was able to get a much needed nap.

The toddler area is smaller and less entertaining than the mall playground. But, the big kid area was big enough to wear my older son out, he did get a staple stuck in he foot though.....

The biggest play place I have put my kid in so far. He ran for two hours non stop. Facility was class and has a sufficient amount of tables and chairs. Will definitely be returning.

This was a really nice place for smaller kids to come and play without worry of having to chase them, you can easily sit at the seating provided and watch your kids play!
