Just came in to check the place out and get coffee to go. I really liked the cozy and quiet atmosphere so I decided to stay and study. The environment really suits my study needs - its not as busy and bustling as other places like prince st. The staff were very caring but a little unprofessional. But thats not as important to me. Awesome place to chill!

Our neighborhood coffee shop and one of my favorite places to visit and relax in Lancaster. Great coffee, excellent (fresh) food menu, and the staff is friendly and hard-working. Live music on Sunday afternoons is a lot of fun, plus there is really good WIFI connection every day. I definitely recommend giving Chestnut Hill a try!

Chestnut Hill Cafe just makes sense. The food is good, the coffee is good (I never say that casually), and the atmosphere is pitch-perfect. The decor evokes a warm, wood-and-leather, early 20th century vibe. CHC is a perfect little nook for the corner of W Chestnut and Pine. And no, I do not have any vested interests here.

Great atmosphere and good coffee , service was a little slow but everything was made fresh so... catch it at a good time and they have free entertainment its usually pretty good, I think they have a movie night too if im not mistaken.Really cool place , one of the only things I miss about moving from Lancaster.

I was anxiously waiting for 18 months for Chestnut Hill to open its doors, only to be continously disappointed time and time again. Poor customer service and the lack of quality products are reasons why I will continue to frequent Dosie Dough, even though I live directly across the street from Chestnut Hill.

Chestnut Hill Cafe is a wonderful start to my Sunday morning before heading over to church. For a place thats pretty busy all the time, the staff does well in keeping up the pace so food and beverage is delivered in a timely manor. Food is very tasty, cafe is clean and welcoming. Keep up the great work!

All of their food is fresh and delicious! The staff is knowledgeable about coffee and many other things in life! Be sure to try one of Nates delicious and beautiful lattes, and their wraps and grilled PB&Js are incredible! Also, a simple, but very tasty black bean & corn salad is always available.

Funnest cafe environment in Lancaster. Many students from F&M do homework here while different community members enjoy coffee each morning together or coming to read the paper. The staff are great and their veggie cream cheese cannot be topped by anyone else. They coffee could be a little better.

For comfortable hanging out, this is THE place. Special orders and fussy tastes are accommodated with style and aplomb. Folks from all walks of life chill, or just drop in. Great take a book,leave a book locale. Its Cheers minus the alcohol. THEY KNOW YOUR name once youve become a regular.

My favorite cafe in Lancaster City. Great coffee, and a neighborhood feel. This is a true neighborhood cafe, not a downtown location, which is why its awesome. If they ever bring back the Tomato Bisque, jump on it! It was my favorite. In the meantime, the grilled cheese is phenomenal.

Ordered bagel and lox with extra salmon non-toasted. Literally the easiest thing to put together. They got it wrong the first time then I waited an hour and did not get anything. And so I left after an hour and 25 minutes of them not fixing my order.
