While I cannot speak to the coffee (havent tried it), I did stop in one morning a few weeks ago. I ordered a chai latte and a breakfast pita. They advertised hot breakfast sandwiches. Well, it was hot - but barely edible. Their idea of a breakfast sandwich is to pre-prepare them, refrigerate, and then microwave until it is so hot you cant bite into it until you are on the train and far away. The chai you ask? Well, Im not sure if you could even call it that. It was horrible - obviously from a powder mix. And too much of that powder does NOT make it better as they seem to think. Their existance is purely dependent on a combination of attributes. First is their location - between the train parking lot and the train platform. Second is that they are open before the first train arrives. Trust me, noone is going out of their way to find this place. And if they got sucked in by the convenience to us train commuters . . . they wont be that stupid again.

This is the "everyone knows your name" of coffee shops. Only premium coffee from Counter Culture, Red Rooster Roasters, and the local Dier are served. The bakery selection from quiche, to breakfast burritos, to exotic ideas like baklava cheesecake are all excellent. Not a bad choice for what you crave. Maureen, the owner, is immersed in coffee culture and is a trained barrista as well as judge. If your drink doesnt meet her standard, they make it again until its right. The vibe is perfect to get you started before a commute to the city or to hold a business meet up. It is perfect for everyone from those in the morning routine, walking the dog, or post-workout refreshment. The shop is in a historic building and has that "in progress" feel but it is never under construction. The are open at 4:30 am for the first train so this is not a late night spot.

Best coffee shop in town!!! I roast my own coffee and tend to be an absolute perfectionist this is the only place in town that has met and exceeded my expectations every time. If you do go here either get a hand pour and drink it black (trust me) or get a small espresso drink so you can taste the actual flavor of the delicious coffee. If you like burnt coffee with lots of fancy flavorings put in it you wont like this place but if youre a purist in pursuit of the best cup of joe in town check it out. Also the staff is awesome Trevor and Josh always make me feel welcome and are extremely knowledgeable. Super impressed by this small business and cant wait to see how they continue to grow and thrive.

Ever had a Silverton pour? Didnt think so, and you should! This place is the best coffee place Ive ever been to. Excellent, buttery baked goods. Really awesome sandwiches. Great environment, great staff, and some great local personalities that frequent it. Everyone passing through makes sure to go to Hyperion, and while Im not knocking Hyperion, 2530 Espresso beats it by a mile. I lived in Fredericksburg for three years, and only wrote a review after we moved back to Fairfax, because I didnt want more people coming in and taking my spot!

This is the kind of coffeehouse you would find in a bigger market like Philadelphia or San Francisco. Its eclectic and hipster but at the same time very down to earth. The staff are VERY knowledgeable about how to make excellent coffee. My advice is to start with a plain latte...no sugar. You WILL notice a difference in quality from the first sip.

Good place. 20 ounce americano is just over $4. Serve grilled cheeses which are very good (lots of cheese, lots of butter, you will blow your diet). They have homemade pop-tarts that are fun, but more of a novelty than something youll crave over and over. Friendly staff. Good place to meet people or hang out on your laptop too.

Lovely little coffee shop. The baristas were very friendly and the coffee is good. A friend has a hot chai almond tea and commented on how tasty it was. A good selection of standard cafe fair but not much if you have a gluten allergy.

Delightfully surprised to find this gem in Fredericksburg serving Counter Cultures Big Trouble espresso blend. Extremely knowledgeable barista. Knew brew ratio and suggested some other coffee I try. Definitely going again.

Breakfast biscuit dry, kind of bland. Coffee not great. Id of been better off at Starbucks even. This place showed up as "best breakfast"on Google maps so I had high expectations. Not so much.

Having tried Eileens, Agora, Hyperion, Blackstone, and Sugar Shack, 25 30s coffee and espresso drinks are the best. Too bad it closes before evening. Also I wouldnt get the bearclaw.

Awesome coffee shop run by a nice family! THE best in Fburg. Love their coffee and espresso drinks, but their food is great too. My favorite is the fluffy egg breakfast burrito.
