This is a nice little find since moving to Chesapeake. Its down on South Battlefield and I have to pass a Dairy Queen to get here, but its totally worth it! When you step inside they definitely have the whole retro thing going on and it works nicely. The counter is over to the left side as you enter and partially along the back. To the right are some coolers full of sodas and in the middle you find old ice cream parlor stools and chairs covered in red with metal banding around them. Its a nice touch. On my visit I picked up a peanut butter and chocolate milkshake. I dont remember the cost but it wasnt expensive and was oooooooh so delicious. The people working there were very nice and it seems like its a family operation. I noticed on the way out theres also tables and chairs outside which will be especially nice once once spring and summer get here. I think on my next visit Ill bring my pup Jango and hook him up with a scoop as well.

Awesome place to grab some ice cream! My daughter and I were looking for an alternative to our tyical dairy queen or sweet frog visits and ended up finding this little gem. Cute, retro ice cream fountain shop look helped add to the nostalgic atmosphere. The staff was friendly and wait time wasnt too long. Ice cream was delicious! Even though its a little out if the way for us, we definitely plan making this a mandatory stop when the ice cream urge hits!

New owners and the quality has slightly diminished. Got shake and milk or something was off. They did exchange for different item which was nice. Raised the prices of the cakes and chocolate layer is skimpy. Flying saucers were skimpy but been good as of late. Sure its just new owners and they will figure it out. I recommend this place to everyone.

I cant quite identify why, but if you havent tried it, you too might like it more than the two more well known competitors. More open and sociable atmosphere without an overinundation of self advertising. Fresh ideas for their ice cream combos. Ghirardelli chocolate... Yep, youll see me here, not there.

The reason I came was that I got coupons in my mailbox. I got 2 cups of birthday cake ice cream, but the coupon applied to just the standard flavors: Vanilla and Chocolate. Luckly, the cashier said that she let us do it just this time. I was so thankful and I left the place with a smile in my face

The staff gave them impression I was more of a inconvence. I Waited at the cash register for over 5 minutes while they cleaned. When I can I pay the cashier roles his eyes.

Id driven by this location for years and didnt know what was inside. Variety of scoopable sweets that will expand the waist and empty the wallet. Delicious!
