Been here a few times, and liked their bagels. Like everyone else says, though, they are slow. Today was exceptionally bad. I was the only customer, and I was waiting for 7 minutes to get two toasted bagels. I then realized what the delay was, as the aroma of burnt bagel filled the room. To my utter shock, the girl was scraping the burnt the bagel as if it never occured. They were totally black, and her plan was to just scrape, schmear and serve. I would not have written this review, though, if the owner/manager wasnt watching this all happen. He watched idlely and let the girl continue scraping and proceed to put schmear on. I asked her nicely to replace the bagels with bagels that werent burnt. Mistakingly, I stopped watching, so as to give them the benefit of the doubt that they would correct the order and do the right thing. When I opened my bagels a few minutes later, I disappointingly realized what I received...1 burnt bagel and 1 cold, untoasted bagel. The cream cheese was spread so thin, I barely knew it was there. I will never return to this place again.

Showed up at 6:30a excited for some bagels. The front door was open and unlocked but there were two chairs in front of it blocking it- the lights were on inside but not on the windows. There were two people in the back getting ready for the day I presume, I called out to ask them if they were open and they didnt even look up at me. I saw another patron do the same as I was leaving. Disappointing. Hours on the door say 6am?

Been coming here since 2010. Love coming here and have become good friends with the two owners. WiFi is available through Starbucks right next door. Bagels are delicious. I normally get an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese. Cheap and very fresh. I also get my bagel here and while its being made I go to Starbucks and grab a coffee. By the time I get my coffee the bagel is ready and its a great combo.

Nice place. Very accessible. The store owner is be very sociable. Theyre menu and bagels always taste fresh. They even customized a bagel for me (the 4M = 4 meat bagel which consist of sausage, steak, bacon, ham, & cheese) which is quite delicious. Nice place to sit in and watch television. You can hop on Starbucks wifi and browse while you eat also.

Decent place but they have to fix their damn phone. It sounds like theyre in a wind tunnel every time I call. I like to place my order for pick up. I just tried to put two orders in and was unsuccessful due to this. Management come on.

They are very nice and attentive, especially if you get there when it is not crowded. Food is good. Bagels are good. "Value meals" can be kind of pricey, compared to Bodos Bagels in Charlottesville, VA, which is my comparison.

If you are willing to wait, which you will for a long time if its crowded... the bagels are amazing. Management and staff could step up their customer service game a bit. But again the bagels are worth the wait.

Bagels taste great but management needs improvement. Waited 30 minutes past the time they open and manager hasnt arrived to open store. Now 6:35am and they have 15 customers outside waiting. Very unprofessional.

The Bagels were always good. Weve gone here since before it was even called Virginia Bagel. It was fun to walk here with neighbors and enjoy a round of bagels together on a Saturday morning.
