One of the best restaurants around. First, the menu: international and creative, it has refreshing originality. When they say internationally inspired they dont mean "same old dishes from every popular cuisine". Be prepared to experience new flavors, textures, and presentation. An open mind (and an open mouth) will be rewarded! That said, dont be frightened if youre uneasy ordering pan-fried watermelon with seared halloumi cheese (which is excellent). The members of the service staff are knowledgeable and capable of offering helpful descriptions of their dishes and excellent recommendations. So thats the second thing: the service. Everyone working in the restaurant is down-to-earth and friendly, and will happily guide you through a fantastic meal experience. You might not even realize when youre being helped by the manager, because the entire staff is accessible and pleasant. The third, and most delightful thing: the prices. Believe it or not, the incredible quality of Palette 22s cuisine does not come at an incredible cost. Thats the most special thing: you can enjoy a mind-blowing meal, pleasant service, and fun ambiance without coming close to breaking the bank. Just visit their website, prices are on the menu. Fourth: Palette 22s most unique element is its dining room, which doubles as casual art gallery and studio for resident artists. Peruse the artwork on the walls, and chat with the artist who might be working on their next masterpiece while you watch! All in all, Palette 22 offers a phenomenal dining experience. Nothing disappoints.

I came here with a group of friends for brunch. We had high expectations for this place, but the reviews are a little skewed. The restaurant has an Asian/ Latin fusion feel. We had everything from the pork belly bao bun, Tacos al Pastor, Crab Arepas Benedict, Caprese flatbread, Churros, Tonys French Toast sticks, Apple Dutch Baby, and Patatas Bravas. Food was good, but like other Yelpers I would agree this place is missing that extra Umph. Maybe some extra seasoning, better combination of flavors or something. We left full, but nothing wowed us. Flavors dont really compliment each other. Portions are rather small considering that it is tapas style. They have a great Bloody Mary station. Not sure why these small Mimosas and Bellinis are $8. Considering my party of 4 we do tend to eat a lot. Even with our +12 plates we still feel like we didnt get our $ worth. Our server was outstanding and went out of her way to explain the menu and answer our questions. Im not sure if this restaurant is falling into the same food trend as other restaurants in the area. Where food is over priced, portions are small, and diners are suffering. I thought I was the only one that felt this way about P22, but my party would agree with my review and give the same rating. If your in the area and looking for a great brunch option Id opt for Carlyle instead.

I love this place, and I go back all the time. The regulars are super friendly, and I love the staff. The art is always creative and 100% local, there are some great gifts to be had here, for sure. Many of the artists will make custom pieces for you, from portraits of your children, to dogs, to your favorite vacation spot. But, of course, how is the food and how are the prices?! Delicious and a great value. I am pescetarian, so can speak for the deliciousness of the fish tacos. Another favorite dish of mine is the vegetarian ceviche, which is served with these delicious veggie chips (sweet potato, taro and plantains). This is a great place to meet up with friends, take your family, or have a special occasion or date. I sincerely think you could go to Palette 22 for any occasion, casual to festive. Have fun!

I enjoyed brunch here very much. The restaurant was busy so there were slow times for service - which is understandable by most folks who dont possess a myopically selfish worldview. Brunch is a great deal with as many small plates as you want to order. Sure there was an occasional mix-up, but who cares? Just order again and enjoy your $2.22 mimosa or build your own bloody mary. Did I mention there is a build your own bloody mary bar? Like it descended directly into the dining room from the heavens of Bacchanalia! Is this the best damn food in the world? No. Is this going to be the best service you ever receive? Also no. Is it a great value and the shortest route to a great weekend brunch? Emphatically yes. Go there. Have brunch. Be awesome.

Interested in trying the place, looked like the menu had potential to be a great mix. Did 4 small plates for two diners to split. Mexican corn, fish tacos, watermelon and cheese and pork tacos. Mexican corn - grilled corn on the cob in kewpie mayo was okay, but bland. Fish tacos were tough and chewy. Pork tacos: the meat was so broken down there wasnt much to chew. Melon and cheese wasnt bad, but its not enough to ever take me back. Service : 4 different people brought the food, but had to grab our own napkins from another table that was set properly. First bar beer on tap order took two rounds of our server to come out. Second bar beer on tap got back before the first. Generally disappointed in service and menu, wont be back.

The hostess was great, I had to ask her food allergy questions because I couldnt ask the bartender. The bartender provided the worst service. He chose to ignore my group to flirt with what appeared to be his girlfriend. We got drinks immediately but the time to order food took quite awhile (bar was empty). He never checked on us, instead he continued to flirt with his girlfriend for the hour we were there. When we payed he threw our cards at us without speaking and went right back to her. My husband and I split the bill because neither of us could justify paying the entire bill. We normally tip 20-30%, this is the first time neither of us left a tip.

Several months ago we used to come here fairly often. The food was decently priced for small plates and did not dissappoint when it came to flavor. However we visited Friday night and that has changed. The menu is very different which was upsetting at first because our favorites were gone but we stuck it out and tried new ones. The sesame steak skewers, while flavorful, were so chewy it didnt matter. The tacos with chicken tasted instead of pork somehow and were not up to the same level as the Vampite tacos which are no longer on the menu. Owell maybe we will come back months from now to different food with better flavor.

Great vibe and delicious sangria! We had some issues with the bartenders confusing our tab with others who ordered food. We only had drinks, but instead of apologizing and making the adjustment, we felt the need to push back and justify ourselves, which customers shouldnt have to do. We were also told that we should explain what tab we want our drinks on when we order, but isnt the bartender supposed to ask that? Anyway, Im hoping it was an isolated incident. The artsy atmosphere with artists actually creating artwork while you dine is a unique feature. Ill give them another shot!

They did not seem to have the AC on, on a 95 degree day (or, more likely, it was set to a very high temperature). The music was very loud, and it was difficult to have a conversation. Their menu is very diverse, and they have some nice options, but it was nothing special. Moreover, when I ordered a steak dish and asked for a steak knife, they told me they dont have steak knives. At all. Which is more of an inconvenience then a real problem, but given that most of their entrees involve hefty slabs of meat, you would think they would accommodate there customers.
