First thing I deal with is a fork with rice encrusted on it and yellow crap. I switch to chopsticks. No knife given so I couldnt cut my food when I received my ice-cold greasy freakishly large calamari rings that neither tasted or felt like real calamari. A friend at the table said hers was the same way. Waitress had asked what I wanted to drink I told her the milkshake so she asks if I want that virgin, assuming they had some sort of nasty-ass alcoholic shake available I said yes and she asks what kind of strawberry daiquiri I wanted... what? I reiterate milkshake and she doesnt understand and I have to point it out and with a confused look on her face she scurries off. When the time came to choose entrees I was still looking, she decided it was OK to suggest then decide her suggestion was my order and walked off ignoring me to go get what I did not order. When she came back she RESTED TRAYS on a relatives shoulder partially to put some of the food down, something that deeply offended and upset said relative... WTF what kind of waitress does that? What I received some very small diameter sushi with roe on it and avocado. I hate avocado but being tired and not wanting to deal with hassle and just get out of there I ate most of it. It wasnt very filling and when she came to ask if we wanted dessert I stated yes to which she acknowledged me, then came back with the bill! Needless to say we didnt tip well and probably wont be returning anytime soon if ever. Wow, and people said this place was good?!

Weve had a handful of reasonable experiences in the past here. Nothing extremely special, but okay food and impersonal but fine service. Tonight, however, my girlfriend and I experienced what I consider a dealbreaker for any restaurant. Namely, we had a problem with our food, and the waitstaff argued with us about it. My girlfriend is a huge fan of sushi, and shes been served solid examples of the cuisine here before (for Vermont anyway). However, tonight she noticed a small fly sitting on a piece of sushi she was brought as part of a platter. This particular sushi did not have seaweed in it, or anything that could possibly resemble a fly. Despite this, a member of the waitstaff chose to, rather condescendingly I might add, attempt to explain to her that the winged insect on her sushi was an oddly shaped piece of seaweed. Were pretty sure it was a fly. Even if it wasnt, its basic restaurant management 101 that you dont publicly humiliate a customer like that. If theres a problem, you fix it or comp the bill. End of story, or at least it should be. They did after this charade comp us the sushi, but needless to say the evening and meal was ruined. I took the rest of mine to go and we went home. Disappointed to experience this anywhere, let alone a restaurant that claims to be among the 100 best Chinese/Japanese restaurants in New England. Well never go back, and will urge friends to stay away.

HAIR TODAY Ordering spring rolls, fried dumplings and Kung Pao as a to-go order turned out to be a big disappointment. Walking to the bar where the dining room host was coming out of the kitchen I looked but didn’t see. Instead of a cook clad in culinary whites and head cover a waitress, as she was dressed in black trousers, white fitted shirt and a vest, was busy cooking at the wok. I thought that could be my dinner as the 2 or 3 tables of dinners present were all already eating. After paying, arriving home, opening the boxes of food and plating it for myself I dug in. The dumpling were fine, the spring rolls were soggy from condensation in the small plastic to-go tray. That’s understandable. However on the 3rd forkful of the Kung Pao chicken I detected something foreign in the food. It took three long tugs to fully dislodge the foreign object. It was a long piece of dark hair with a highlight running the middle 2/3 of the strand. It matched perfectly the waitress’s hair that I had observed cooking my dinner just minutes ago. I brought the balance of the meal back to the restaurant and offered up the preserved hair as evidence of my dissatisfaction with the meal. The dining room nonchalantly offered a refund on just the Kung Pao. And the moral to this review you might ask? If you like hair in your food, then this is the place for you.

I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years and have held it in high regard until recently. During my last two visits, I experienced the worst service of my life by the same inept server. The experience in both cases were nearly identical: > Drink orders needed reminders to be fulfilled > Sushi sat at the bar for over 20m before served > 9 of us were served and we waited for the 10th plate to come. After 10m, we had to ask the man at the sushi bar to bring us our food > Bill was brought out with asking, let alone asking if we wanted dessert, which we did. A complete mess, by an incompetent waiter. Sad to say, but I will not be going back.

Good food, average service. started with a shrimp egg roll. Deep fried to perfection with a wonderful flavor. The sauce served was a bit skimpy for the size of the egg roll, but overall pretty good. I ordered the mongolian beef. Excellent. Just the right amount of spice and the beef was some the most tender beef I have ever had. The wife ordered the cashew chicken. This dish fell a little short. Wayyyy to much celery. The could of called celery with a little cashew chicken. All in all a good meal, but the celery overload meirts a 4 star instead of a five star rating.

So I have passed by the Williston Location more times than I can count. Always curious just never ventured. Today though I craved sushi but did not want to go downtown or out to Kotos. So I decided this was the time. I looked over the menu online and their photo gallery and saw a few things that looked delicious. I went in and was promptly sat, and started off with a 300ml bottle of Kurmatsu Chokara Sake. I then ordered a Philadelphia Roll and a roll that was not on the menu but shown in their gallery. The sushi

Sushi OK, everything else, eh. We went here a few times, right after we watch a movie (if you go here before you go and watch a movie you might not make it in time, its a coin toss) In general, the staff is fine, but the service can be on the slow end. The sushi is fine (but outside of a coastal area I usually order non-raw versions like unagi rolls - broiled eel and shrimp tempura rolls). The appetizers were fine - tried the shumais, the entrees are ok, but nothing to write home about.

I love lo mein, and try it wherever I go. These guys have -fantastic- lo mein. Their dumplings are also wonderful. They can have a bit of a long wait, so if you go to a movie plan ahead. They do take-out which is nice as I work nearby. The staff are quite friendly and the place always has a nice quiet atmosphere about it. I would consider this to be a step up from your classic "asian" food in terms of quality and quantity for the price.
