Went here today with my GF and our Son. First time weve ever been here, and we were looking for a Chinese Buffet to try while we were down from Maine. Im an extremely picky eater when it comes to Chinese food, so as normal, was very skeptical. Upon entering, the gentleman at the door was extremely polite and inviting. We got seated right off, and drinks were served within moments of sitting. All of the waitresses were extremely polite to us, and they just LOVED playing with our son while we were getting food. The food was extremely good, and way better than what I had expected. The Sweet n Sour sauce was the only thing I didnt care for at all on the Buffet. It was nearly flavorless, and not very sweet. Everything else made up for it. I tried everything from the fried foods, noodle plates, Sushi, and Lo-Mein bar. It was all great (yes, I had small portions of each, as Im not a big guy, but wanted to try it all.) We were over all extremely pleased, and will be making a trip here everytime we come to Torrington CT now. Great job Torrington Super Buffet, youve just earned 2 more customers.

Grew up eating here and Im watching it turn into a dump. I had 3 people tell me they found roaches in their food. I went today because I always remeber it being clean. The food was very dried out and they had a new waitress that was VERY RUDE. Hovering around my table begging for a tip. When I was done with my meal she slammed down a try and said you put money here. I paid the dinner price of $14 which went up and they used to have crab which they dont now; raise the prices take away the crab and cheese sticks pizza and other things you used to get on the Buffett. I paid with $20 she gave me back $2 in change and took my receipt. Then demanded I tip her. "You put tip on tray" "I get tip" Hmm I didnt get water when I wanted a refill and had to wait until the end of the meal. Plus she was beyond rude for no reason and shorted me my change. No thanks. Plenty of other QUALITY food options in town. Over salted dried out MSG. Compared to all the great Italian cooks we have in this town does not compare. Ill take my time and my money and go some where else.

Very fresh, sushi bar, crab legs, all the traditional entres, biggest surprise: yummy pizza! lol. Something for everyone. The only mediocre items are the desserts, but who goes to a chinese restaurant for dessert? The cookies are good though! We try to go at least once a month ~ even the pickiest of kids are happy. Friendly owners. Just called (my daughter may want her birthday party here! ) Lunch Prices $6.95 - Adults (11+) $4.95 - Kids (10 & under) Dinner Prices (Sunday is dinner all day) $12.95 adult (11 + ) $6.95 children (10 & under)

One of the best Chinese buffets I have eaten at in CT. The Torrington Super Buffet has a wide selection of food. It has hibachi bar, sushi bar. The food is always very good. The atmosphere is very nice. The waiters/waitresses are very friendly. The prices here are very reasonable! I would highly recommend anyone to eat here!

Still bad. Cheap, dried-out and greasy food. The crab legs are sparse and rancid. I cant believe there arent health violations in action.. Some food is just sitting out without ice or heat. Second star for decent decor and terrific waitress service.

Wide selection of food, although dinner can be pricy nd drinks are NoT incuded, still most love it. Hibachi Grill included in purchase most times as well as crab legs with dinner.
