Absolutely worst meal I have had out in a long time. Service was OK....it appeared the average age of everyone was 20 and no one cared. Waited to be seated by a host who could care less for 8 minutes place was not busy. Then she looked irritated that we wanted a table. When she tried seating us at a dirty table we asked for a booth so she sat us at the biggest one they had (although many more suitable ones available) begrudgingly. Said she had to keep sections in order as she walked away. Then the beer menu and menus came over. The beer menu was filthy all kinds of dried on food and drink stains. On it the first 3 beers I wanted were listed out on the menu. Then the next 2 I asked for I was informed were out as well but had yet to be scribbled out. So I asked what do you have and I was directed to the new nitro pushed beers which I had no interest in for 9 dollars a beer. Then we ordered a chicken parm sandwich which was burnt in most places and uncooked breading in others. It appeared as though they had previously breaded and fried a bunch of chicken at once and these got stuck together and then they microwaved it warm is my only guess as to how this could happen and still have severely burned areas of breading other parts of breading not cooked at all and still have it be so over cooked it was stringy...I wish I had had my phone with me at the time to take a picture it was gross. My Burger was OK although it tastes of burnt Italian dressing though....weird. The fries were Luke warm and looked as though they had been reheated twice and then sat out for an hour under a heat lamp before they found their way to us...they were chewy and old tasting I mean depressing...the kids took a half off of the chicken parm...that was nice I guess. We were just hungry and wanted a cold beer ours were warm.... something to eat on our limited dining dollar. Go some place else this was garbage the place needs some leadership...but its clear that no one cares... Also the dining room was depressing too.....I have seen operating rooms look more inviting than this

Server, ashley We came here after leaving another pub in killington for being abnoxious. The reviews dont do this place justice, really. We at fits had trouble finding it, and the hostess on the phone was extremely polite and helped us get there. After that we had a great selection of beer and really actually great food (northern philly cheese steak and my love had an extraordinary turkey sandwich) on obviously homemade bread, which was delicious by the way... moving on Ashley, our server was wonderful. Super polite, very knowledgeable about the menu and beer selection and overall great to deal with. Seriously. Go there and ask for her, you wont regret it.

Visiting for the 4th and was disappointed that the vast majority of establishments we found were either bars with finger food or national chain restaurants. Its because of this that VTH stood out so easily (aside from it being recessed quite far from the road). Food was wonderful (Chicken Caesar wrap, pulled pork, and cheese curds), atmosphere was bright and clean, and the beer selection was phenomenal. Our only disappointment was that their wait staff seemed understaffed, as there was only one waitress taking care of the 10-15 tables, but she was very nice. At the end of the day I would 100% recommend to others as well as revisit, should I be in the area.

The management is a complete joke, I come in have 2 beers with a group friends and joking around. one of my jokes in a closed group i used the f word and she then approachs my friends and says she is going to cut me off. but that was not the issue, i appoched her to apologize, being a grown adult and she then started going off on me being the most disrespectful and rude manager i have ever met. I mean have respect for your customers, youre a manager appoch the situations like a professional should and dont disrespect your customers. All around horrible management, good food but lost my business and will guide everyone i can away from here.

Terrible service. Any Rutland local will confirm the bad rumors that are spreading about this place. Plenty of staff standing around looking at their phones while we wait for over an hour even for drinks. Literally had to serve ourselves drinks. There are plenty of places you should choose to eat/drink before even considering the tap house. I have never rated a bar/restaurant, but the service was so bad and lazy at this establishment that I felt the need to write this.

I ate here twice while staying in town. They have quite a large selection of beers, including many from local brewers. My first visit, I ordered the burger, which Id describe as OK, but the service was great, with the waitress really being on top of things. Went back again, and ordered a pizza. The service wasnt quite as good, but I was impressed with the pizza. Id definitely recommend making that your choice if you decide to dine here.

Tried going here last night with some friends around 7:45 PM. The entire building was lit displaying it was open, but every entrance was locked. Could see multiple workers inside walking around and noticing us, but never came to the door to communicate. On the door it says open until 10 PM on sundays, along with online. I also called while still in the parking lot with no answer on their end. Thats not how you treat customers.

Not sure where to begin.....our reservation was lost, but were seated relatively quick....Then- first 3 drinks.. 30 minute wait. 1 Appetizer- 1 hour wait...3 burgers over an hour and 45 minutes. Thankfully we had no where to go. Our meal was comped, but it would have been nice to see a manager on the floor. Plenty of staff, just no leadership. We have no desire to return.

Great pizza, great beer, and friendly staff. Good atmosphere as well; by which I mean its a nice clean venue that is well designed as is the Williston location. Would be five stars but food is s-l-o-w to come out; challenging when trying to grab lunch here during the workday. Still, would recommend this place to anyone in the area for lunch or dinner.

Good food, bad service. Came in on a slow Monday night and had bad service. Had to ask to follow up about getting our drinks while we could see the waitress standing around. Pizza was then brought out and we had to ask for plates and silverware. Was disappointed on such simple misses on a slow night. Never had an issue at the Williston location.

My kids and I decided to try the tap house and were very pleased. Family friendly atmosphere, some decent vegetarian options, great beer menu, and I love the fact they partner with local farms. I would have given five stars but we were given our check before being asked if we wanted another drink or dessert, which we would have ordered.

Great beer list, which is ever changing. The service was friendly and fast, and the server was willing to replace my beer when I chose something that I ended up not liking. She fixed it even though it was my choice. The pizza and salad was good as well, but for my purposes was mostly a complement to the excellent beer options.
