I have not tried their ice cream. However their Espresso (Winooski location) was right on spot. I am an Amateur home-barista and specialize only on Espresso. Ive tried almost all coffee shops in the Burlington area and this has been the only one where I can say I had a true espresso experience. They use a small La Marzocco so you will have to wait for a while if theres a line, great quality machine but can only make one espresso at a time, perfect for a small cafe like the one in winooski. I knew the espresso was good when I noticed the barista technique. She did not measure by volume which is what they do in uncommon grounds, and volume can vary greatly with many different factors such as age of the bean, type of water, etc... She looked at the extraction itself, and stopped it manually at the right blonding moment. The result was a very complex espresso. It was very sweet, with all the caramel, chocolate and fruity flavours you should expect in espresso. And it was dense, like chocolate melting in your mouth, the way espresso is supposed to be. My girlfriend ordered a milk beverage (cortado) and microfoam was spot on. Latte art could be improved though, but that of course wont affect the taste of your beverage and depends on the artistic skills of the barista. 5 stars.

I had met the baker of Scouts doughnuts @ the checkout in Costco....we got to talking about sourdough, she stated she makes the doughnuts for both Scouts, delivers every weekend AM, @ 1000...Im not a particular fan of doughnuts, but because Im a huge fan of sourdough (make bread with my own starter), had to try them....went to the new location, in Winooski.....WOW, they are FANTASTIC!!!....had the one with rhubarb inside (big fan of that also, make my own rhubarb pies)....will definitely be back!!....GCW

I love this place. I come in to the Winooski branch to work on my laptop, and the atmosphere is ideal -- a nice mix of people who are there to work and people who are there to socialize. The music is eclectic, but its not so loud that I cant tune it out with my headphones when I want to listen to my own stuff. The wifi is reliable, the staff is personable, and the coffee is made with care.

Id been to the Scout and Co in Winooski, so today I tried this one in Burlington, and Im so glad I did! Their buttermilk chia porridge is to die for, and the latte was clearly made with love and care. I couldnt possibly do justice to this wonderful place!

Great coffee in a beautiful, minimally decorated space. Creative house made ice creams are killer especially the smoked maple and sea salt creemee (soft serve for visitors to the area). The Old North End needed a place like this!
