Ive been to Thailand and I can honestly say the food at this cafe is as good, and authentic as anything I ate in Bangkok. I have looked for good Thai food in almost all of the Thai restaurants in Utah and this place ranks near the very top. Certainly one of the two or three best Thai restaurants in Utah, and I cant say that any of the other great Thai restaurants actually beat it. I come with my family and extended relatives and have seen almost all of their dishes at one time or another and none of them have ever been a disappointment. My personal favorite is Tom Yum Goong, which is kind of a sweet/sour, brothy shrimp soup with lemon grass, Thai basil and other flavorings and I just cant get enough of it. Of course, I always order it "Thai Hot" but dont try "Thai Hot" unless you REALLY like hot stuff. Their curries are excellent, their portion size is large and the price is good, ranging from around $7 to $13. It is on a secondary street just west of Bangerter Highway and just south of 6200 South (turn west at the next intersection a mile north on Bangerter once you leave Jordan Landing, then turn south at the 7-11.). You will find the restaurant in a well-kept strip mall. Business tends to be relatively brisk, considering the location, but you rarely will have to wait for a table.

While the service was fine and the staff pleasant, the food was completely unremarkable. I didnt find the quality or taste to hold up to other Thai restaurants Ive been to. Personally Id recommend Sawadee or Thai Siam if youre looking for tastier, more authentic food. Spring rolls - unusually long (hey, extra food, whos complaining there?) but only 2 shrimp per spring roll, so the extra filling is just the lettuce and beansprouts. Tom Kha Gai - too heavy on the Thai red curry paste, but otherwise OK. Massaman curry - big ol pieces of onion, which isnt something Ive historically seen in Massaman curries... Four Seasons - chicken, beef, shrimp (3) and veggies, but overwhelmingly fishy taste. Was advised best seller on the menu. Personally not a fan.

My wife and I have been going here for several years now both before and after their remodel. Menu and prices have always been the same in that time - great service, fantastic food. Our favorites are their Currys (Curries?) and their Spring Rolls - I have loved their Vietnamese Pho, but they actually have a Thai version that I like even better! Great family run restaurant have been there 20x at least... dine in or take out, never disappointed! A lot of their menu is Gluten and Dairy free - works great if you have dietary restrictions like my wife - it is our number one favorite place to go. I even drag business contacts across town to come here.

This place consistently has the best curry. I usually get the masaman curry and it never fails to make me happy. I like it spicy so they add extra spice to it which makes it even more perfect. I always order this the night before I have a race and it always makes me skate fast! The people working there are always so nice too and my food is always ready in about 15 minutes. My boyfriend is allergic to coconut so he gets the thai pho and that is also very good. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves thai food and curry!!! Best ive ever had. Im moving downtown but that will definitely not stop me from eating here regularly.

The food here is amazing. I highly recommend their red curry (containing pineapple and large shrimp). The waiter there was super attentive and friendly, and even called around for me when I was curious about ice skating rinks in the area. By other peoples reviews on here, I thought the atmosphere might not be good for a date, but I personally took a date there, and we both loved it. It is a smaller place, and is not a fancy restaurant, but its very clean and inviting, and the food far surpasses other Thai restaurants Ive been to around here. Its also moderately priced, at about $7-9 per dish.

Ive never had Thai before and two friends recommended Thai Delight, so we went there for dinner. Its a nice little family-owned restaurant with booth-style seating. The decor isnt fancy, but its clean. Our server is part of the family and was extremely helpful and friendly. Warning: if you like it spicy-hot, the hottest hot will make your socks roll up and down. We went for medium and it was plenty enough for me! I liked the friendly family atmosphere, the convenient location, and the fact that it wasnt in a high-traffic shopping center, so I didnt have to fight the crowds.

Summary based on 1 lunch: --authentic preparation, though not all the usual ingredients (Chinese broccoli/kana, for example) were available --spiciness toned down for American palates. Understandable. --friendly, helpful service --fairly inexpensive --easy parking in adjoining lot --clean bathroom I wish I had read the Yelp reviews more closely and had seen that this is really a Northeastern Thai/Isaan place. I might have ordered differently. I dont recall sticky rice on the menu. Its not on the take-out menu.

I asked the server if they could do a curry with no fish sauce, or shrimp paste, and they said yes. I asked for tofu, and they gave me chicken. (Im vegan). They replaced my dish with tofu, and the food was good. But the next time I went back, they said they dont do curries without fish sauce, and that I would have to call in advance for a special request. Makes me wonder if I ate fish sauce the first time I was there. Ill stick with Thai places with vegetarian menus.

Nice little mom&pop shop restaurant in a strip mall off of Bangerter. I had the Pad Thai while I was there, and my buddies had the Vietnamese Pho. I thought the Pad Thai was absolutely amazing, with a great blend of spice and that somewhat sweet tangy taste of the dish. My friends loved their Pho, and we learned that the the broth for the Pho is individually made for each order instead of the typical large batch. Well definitely be coming back to this place.

Every time I visit Thai Delight or get it to go it just hits the spot. Highly recommend Sukiyaki Thai Hot Pot with squid. Last night got yellow curry to go while we waited my daughter played with owner grand daughter it was two in one food and entertainment. Thai Delight has 1 through 5 scale of hot, and authentic thai hot, if you enjoy crying while you eat. Your local friendly family restaurant. By the way they just expanded doubled their space.

Ever since our trip to Thailand we have been looking for an authentic Thai restaurant. This is by far the most authentic Thai food in Utah. We ordered the Mas-sa-man curry and the larb. Both of these dishes were amazing. We ordered them to be "Thai spicy" and the food came out just as spicy as it is in Thailand. The Thai coffee was to die for. Generous portions, great prices, excellent service. We will be going back again and again.
