The food is just alright if you dont mind it being cooked in a bucket of grease. The service is poor but my biggest concern is the amount of flies inside resturant! If you like to have flies landing on your food and buzzing in your face while you try to eat then this is the place for you. When I tried to bring it up to the girl at the cash register she just blew me off and said its always like that because of the chicken farms in the area! Now picture flies landing on chicken poop then flying into the resturant and landing on your food! Even when I asked to speak with the manager about the issue he gave me the same response and said there was nothing they could do about it because the building was so old and there were so many cracks. If you want a clean dining expirience go somewhere else!

The breakfast is pretty good. The staff is great and fast. The only reason it gets one star is furniture and atmosphere. They need to spend some money and get new seating. The booths are patched with duct tape and falling apart. The carpet is all worn and the place isnt pleasant to be at. A little updating would go a long way. No one wants to see flies in a restaurant and feel like the place isnt clean because it looks run down.

The food was meh. The service was less then meh. We didnt even know our servers name and she never said thank you. When we went up to pay and the cashier found it more important to chat with her friend who was standing there while we were very obviously waiting to pay. She made us feel like we were an inconvenience to her. There are definitely better places in Tooele to get food. Dont waste your time or money.

If I could rate this a -100 I would. This greasehole is a horrible excuse for a restaurant. The food was dreadful. Whatever you do, do NOT eat the Shepherds pie. It would not be fit for rats. Everything on the menu is full of fat, I sat by a window and I saw a numerous amount of dead flies. I cannot even imagine what the kitchen looks like. I cannot believe people actually eat here on a regular basis.

Really 3.5 stars average but varies from 2 to 4 depending on what youre after. Fantastic breakfast beating the national chains hands down. Good burgers too. I cant recommend the Mexican food as it tastes a bit too Utahn and bland for me. Service here is generally quite good. Place is slammed after about 9 on a Saturday morning so get there early.

Nice little diner! Stopped in to get a cup of coffee to warm me up, and the service and food were great! The establishment itself could use some care, the seats are duct taped together and the building could use some repair. Its kind of like that old worn sweater full of holes and patches. Not much to look at, but still cozy and comfy!

BIG "yum" + delicious fries and hot cocoa. If you are looking for healthy, one meal portions, this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for tasty food that will last two or three meals at a great price check this place out. Good for watching the locals too.

Food is ok I always order the hamburger I like the bread, my husband loves Shepper pie his favorite, service is good but the place really needs an update to make it look cleaner and nicer at least finally they fixed the benches they were so bad need more cushion

Food is decent and portions are huge. The menu is overwhelmingly large and covers breakfast, American, and Mexican food pretty thoroughly. The interior needs to be updated desperately. Carpet is stained, booths are duct taped together, and it just feels dirty.

Great food...as always. I discovered their enchiladas with black beans and cheese...so good Ive been there 3 times in the last 2 weeks! The service is always friendly and fun. I can always count on Virgs for a great experience.

The best food and the best service. The owner is nice and visits with the customers. There is a friendly atmosphere there and its easy to leave a big tip for the workers. Gotta love it. Word of warning, HEART ATTACK! lol.
