I come here a lot, and I generally like this place. With a few exceptions. Its hit or miss at this place. Some days you walk in and get no acknowledgement. So you will stop a waitress and shell tell you to sit anywhere (like you should already know). Other days you will be seated by someone(the owner possibly if hes there). However, sometimes you need to write your own name down in a pad of paper. Nobody will tell you which is appropriate, so its a crap shoot. Plus the cashier doesnt bother to look your way or answer you at all. The food is OK. Its pretty much simple food, some days its really good and some days its blah. The coffee is either old or burnt. However, its really affordable. Thats the best part of this place, its not over priced. The wait staff is also hit or miss. A couple of shining stars and a few duds. The bussers are always more helpful and easy to find than your waitress.

What a great find this place is! Weve been going here for the last 2 years, and love the food, which is varied, homemade, and prepared by a caring staff. A family-operated restaurant, the Royal Cafes humble exterior in a strip mall doesnt lead one to expect the great menu and delicious food. Daily specials priced for the budget-conscious are posted on a white board to your left, as you enter. If you order one of their fabulous desserts, expect the person who created it (either the wife or the grandmother) to drop by and ask you how you liked it. The diner atmosphere doesnt create much of an ambiance, but if the quality of the food is more important to you than the thread count of their napkins, you wont be disappointed.

Horrible. I ordered a patty melt. What I was served was a thin, barely there, frozen, paper thin hamburger. The waitress kindly took my order back and brought me a pastrami sandwich. Again nothing to rave about. I make better sandwiches at home. My dining partner played hell trying to get a second cup of coffee. When it came time to pay our bill the waitress didnt take the crappy melt off the tab. Crappy place to eat out. All these good reviews must have been written by the owner. Boo...

Fresh soup made daily you get a salad and a bowl of soup with your meal which is excellent. Very good service and reasonable prices makes it a very good place for senior citizens and for families to eat out you will not break the bank and get pretty reasonable good food Very good desserts selection usually. They have daily specials all you can eat fish on Fridays and shrimp. They also have a very good breakfast selection and lunch we like to go here for the value of the food

First time at this establishment. Went for breakfast, waitress asked us what we would like to order before seeing a menu. Advised waitress it was our first time there. My husband ordered an omelette and a side of potatoes, because the menu doesnt say that anything comes with the item. The waitress neglected to say potatoes came with the meal. The meals are a bit pricey, unless you order the specials. The special for 4th of July was very good for the price

Im sorry to say I wont be coming back . I was disappointed with the cleanliness . Condiments were dirty this place needs to be cleaned up . You can hear the microwave go off and then they brought my food . Just a little distasteful . If I wanted reheated food . I could do that at home. Thanks for reading my opinion goo luck on the clean up

I love the Friday fish and Shrimp specials! Most of their meals come with your choice of 3 sides so you always get plenty to eat even if it isnt an all you can eat special. The lunch and dinner prices are reasonable too. I hear the breakfast is very good so some day I need to try going early enough in the day that I feel like breakfast.

I use to like eating there, they have descent food at affordable prices, but one day while I was eating, I saw a roach on the floor, I told my waitress, she went over and stepped on it and left it in the floor, I havent been back since and I will never go back and dont recommend that any one else eats there either.

Prices were reasonable and good service. My patty melt was awful. The grilled onions were full of grease and so much so I was unable to finish my sandwich. Everyone else seemed satisfied with their "all you can eat" dinners. I didnt see anything that made me want to order from that venue.

I dont go here often because breakfast would be the only reason Id go but I have to say for the one thing I eat here is the Gyro and Feta omlette with onions and tomatoes, incredible combo with fried potatoes and toast, less than 8.00, enough food for a normal person. Great service too.

This place seems to start going downhill the floor is gross looking had a fly in my food 1 day I think they should look at the whole picture there and make some better decisions of making it look a little better then putting a little paint on people are not that stupid.

Great Food, Great Prices, and Great Service. If you want to eat a place where they treat you better than family, this is the place. Its been in business for years and it will be here to stay. Portions are large and food is great. You really cant go wrong with anything.

this place is really good to eat. you get value for your money. this place seems to be short staffed. i waited 10 mins on the phone for a to go order and then when i called back the cashier placed me back on hold! needless to say...i went somewhere else for breakfast

Coming from Wisconsin I know a good fish fry. This one is fantastic. Hand breaded codfish. Portions are generous with three side for each dinner. Great Hamburgers, fries and the patty melt is yummy. Breakfast divine. Wait staff are friendly. Prices are great.

We usually go there on Thursday evening for their Chicken Dumpling soup. Tastes just like mom used to make. Food is reasonably priced and portion-size is good...not too much or not enough. Staff is friendly and very accommodating.

The food was OK and reasonably priced. I had the spaghetti and meatballs and the meatballs tasted like the frozen kind. Not very appealing. The place is run down and a little dirty. The waitress was very nice.
