Last night my former husband passed away we had an evening service at Avenidas Funeral Chapel our small group walked down the road to Zamoras for a meal and time to remember our loved one we got to Zamoras about 9 minutes before closing time we were the only ones there the hostess pointed out to us that the kitchen staff was closing down for the evening. We explained our situation and we were asked to take a seat and tables were moved to accommodate our party as it grew. Our orders were taken as we all arrived and soft drinks and table wear continued to be provided along with homemade chips and salsa. As our food orders were put in and somehow all came out of the kitchen at the same time. I cant say enough about how we were accommodated during this very stressful time in our lives. On to the food we all ordered different menu items and shared bites from each others plates because everyone thought that there food was great. Mexican food is hands down our family favorite and Zamoras has wonderful food. In closing our waitress gave me a hug and offered her condolences before I walked out of the restaurant. I want to thank all of the staff again.

I havent even gotten my food and Im in love with this place. Instantly they make you feel welcome and the waitress is completely attentive. Ive been setting aside my craving for Mexican food because of the terrible service I received at Raul and Theresas. However, Cafe Zamora is different, they dont treat you like just a customer. Here they care about their customer service. Its a great place! Im coming here from now on!

The average rating of 4.5 much too high. I drove many miles to try this place when I could have just went to a dozen other mediocre Mexican places closer by. I suppose if I lived nearby I might stop in on occasion but definitely not worth the drive here. Whats with not having any alcohol :-(

Great food! I went to a up scale Mexican restaurant in Scottsdale but that place doesnt even compare to Cafe Zamora! The Salsa and hot sauce are really good! Everything was fresh! This is the ultimate hole in the wall! Great food and friendly service!

Great place for traditional and great tasting Mexican food. Good variety of meats available. Restaurant is a good size and has plenty of room to sit, even though it looks small from the outside. Parking is sort of limited as it only has street parking.

The most amazing Mexican restaurant I have ever experienced!!! It is a little secret oasis of spectacular flavor!!!! Would give 10 stars if possible. The appearance doesnt represent the taste, but the service is just as amazing as the food.
