I may not be a curry person, but I can tell you that of the three times I have been here, all three times I was served delicious lamb curry that melted in my mouth, and the to-go bag was ready on the counter within about 60 seconds of paying for it, which is faster than any fast food restaurant I’ve been to. Again, I’m not a curry person, but what I tasted, I really liked. The meat and sauce are spicy and have a rich flavor. The meat seems to have been slow-cooked, as it is flakey and tender. The bread is hearty, flavorful and soft. The rice is, well, rice…but I can find nothing wrong with how it’s cooked. Overall, 10/10 food. As for the negatives, the place is very small. Most of the seats are at a counter. There are like two tables inside (though one is very large), so if you come with a group, you may have to wait for that table to open up, or else take your food to-go. The store has never been crowded when I have been there, but I eat at odd hours. Although I come here all the time by myself to eat to-go, I would hesitate to take a friend here to dine in, as I’m not sure I’d find a table if I went during the lunchtime rush. One other thing that’s not really a negative given the amount of food you get, and the delicious taste of it, but every time I have been, the bill was about $10 with tax for a basic entrée for one. The serving sizes are enormous, and I’ve always taken two meals to finish them (which is generally perfect for me). However, if I look around the menu, everything else is about $10 with tax as well, so given how much food you get for $10, it would be nice if they offered half-sized entrees at half that price. Just my thoughts. Would recommend.

Very delicious! Food was great, awesome customer service! It was a bit small and cramped but they have two picnic tables outside to eat at which was nice since the only two tables inside were occupied. Best to get take out and enjoy it in a more spacious environment. The menu they have online isnt correct on prices, which was surprising to me because the lower price is one of the main reasons I went to try this place. They were about $2 more each item/dish than on the menu online. (When your broke $2 more is a lot). Still though it was very delicious and they treated me with great customer service. We got lamb curry dish and chicken curry. Lamb was more pricy and a lot more spicy than the chicken, however I loved the flavor more on the chicken dish. Garbanzo beans were honestly my favorite thing to eat out of everything we ordered. Id come back just for those beans! Very very good. Thanks for the clean environment, delicious food, and great customer service.

I wished that I could rate this zero stars. I used to love this place despite the worst customer service known to civilization. They act as though it is a privilege for you to spend money at their establishment. They recently raised their prices - you know, a cup of rice is getting expensive - but their portion sizes continue to decrease. Today I gave this place a last ditch effort to change my opinion but again they failed! I ordered the chicken curry plate with a cup of water (of course you are made to feel like a moron if you are not willing to spend 2$ for a .35 cent can of soda). The total with tax comes to just a little over 9 dollars. I handed him a 10 dollar bill, he put it in his register, closed it, and said "Have a good day." What? I am now forced to tip for fast food AND crappy service? I will never go to this place again. What a complete joke!

If I had the option to give it zero stars, or even negative stars, I would. One of the worst places you can go to enjoy a meal. If you want to annihilate your gut lining with horrifying cramps all night this is the place to go. This is a place I wouldnt recommend to even my worst enemies. The Utah State Health Department is not doing its job. How is this unhygienic, squalid place with feces (E.Coli?) laden food even operating in Utah? If you dont want to torture yourself, your family and you value your children, stay away from this gutter. On top of it, service is rude and the man on the counter is creepy. Gawking at you. Try perhaps Tandoor or House of Tibet for curries and Indian food.

I went to this place a couple days ago during a crazy rain storm. Seemed like a great hot dish on a cold rainy day. The set up is like a cafe rio/panda express type set up where everything is prepared and ready to go in a display window. You get to choose what you want in your meal which is nice. The curry has decent flavor but definitely not the quality of typical SLC curry. The naan seemed to be processed store bought and was very chewy. Overall, the meal was good for a quick curry meal on the go but if you are looking for a nice curry meal and have some time there are definitely better choices in the area.

These are not the friendliest people in the world, but I dont care. I go to Curry in a Hurry at least once a month because it is the best damn curry I have ever had in my life. I hate spicy food, but I soldier through the heat anyway. Why? Because its worth it! Their golden chicken curry is like dinner and dessert at the same time. Dont ask me to explain how curry can taste like dessert, youve just got to believe me. Daydreaming about their curry is what gets me through my day. If you love curry, or hate curry as much as I do, you NEED to check this place out.

Could not be happier- great catering! Not only is the food great when you eat in the restaurant, these folks do great catering! I was able to please everyone on my list and then some, because the meat is halal, and they have gluten free curries. They even had it ready for me a bit early and went a little extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. I would definitely recommend them for your next business lunch or dinner!! Super helpful from the minute I called and worked on the order til they checked on me afterwards to make sure it all went well.

Let me cut to the chase. The curries were horrible and nothing like what you would expect at the avg. Indian / Paksitani curry joint. The 1 star is for the lamb curry that my friend ordered which he said was the only thing that tasted like it should. The place can seat 10 people max and looks unclean. The prices arent that great either. Maybe it was just the menu of the day that did me in, but I am going to give myself the benefit of the doubt and I am never going back.

The space is too small, I know its supposed to be in a hurry, a takeout place but its so cramped it feels like youre sitting in a restroom. The curry is just OK, Im use to saltier curry than this. As someone who makes curry at home and has frequented a lot of curry restaurants I know curry. And Id say theyre using too much coconut milk in it. Its too sweet. Curry should be salty not sweet. But it isnt terrible. Its edible. The staff are super friendly.
