I would not go here. You are better off getting a microwave meal. The food was edible but thats about as far as I would go. The food was pretty bland and more expensive than Olive Garden which is much better. There is also no free bread of any kind. The portion size was OK since I really did not want to eat anymore. Service was Simi-efficent but not friendly. Others in my party did not have food prepared as ordered. There are two other restaurants within walking distance so I really dont know why anyone would choose to go here. If only I had read the other reviews before we had sat down I would not have made this mistake either. Some people in my party including myself did not feel well after eating the food from this restaurant. However it was not full on food poisoning so I really cant say for sure that this restaurants food caused us to feel ill. I noticed one of the previous reviews that was positive suggested that some of the negative reviews were not authentic . I assure you mine is authentic and you can check my multiple reviews of other businesses to see how I normally rate restaurants . Bottom line even if youre staying in one of the adjacent hotels pick another place to eat.

.If it was possible to give negative stars to this restaurant it would be justified. Last Thursday around 8pm my husband and I walked in to this awful place. The entire dinning room was empty except for one lone man sitting at the bar. A Middle Eastern man approached us and wanted to seat us at the table directly in front of the door. We asked if we could use another table that was not in the doorway. He shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Minutes later he walked to our table and dropped two menus on the table. I ordered Lasagna and my husband had the Chicken Marsala. Both were not fit to eat! The kitchen is open to the dinning room and we noticed the cook was Chinese. Shortly later a large party of Chinese can into the restaurant. A man from their party went over to the Chinese cook and asked him to cook something for their table. The same waiter soon delivered a large platter of some kind of greens. After a bite or two they left the entire platter of food alone. It too was awful according to their faces. Remember if you are in Salt Lake City Dont Go to Basilico!

had the amazing handmade Meat Lover pizza. They made the pizza right in front of us which was AWESOME!!!! Pizza dough was freshly made and the taste was authentic! Cant believe they homemade meatballs as well! We tasted the difference between prepackaged meatballs and theirs. Price is a little bit high for poor college kids who are here for summer trip, BUT its definitely worth it!!!! Definitely a must go place if you are here to visit. Ps: owners are super nice people too :) they were very patient with us and answered all of our questions! Service is great, place is amazing, food is the BEST!

I had spaghetti with homemade meatballs and it was just OK. The presentation was quite good, but everything was rather bland, including the meatballs, and the sauce was quite watery. The portion was also smaller than I expected. Even the bread was bland, it really could have used some garlic butter. Price was a bit high for what it was. I paid $14, should have been $11 or $12 in my opinion. Not worth driving to, but if youre staying in one of the nearby hotels without a car its an OK option.

If I could give this place a million stars I would. It is the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. Their food is amazing. Their calzones are giant and super filling. Their chicken wings are also really good as well as their meatballs. Their marinara sauce is homemade and super delicious. I have yet to try their pizza or ravioli but will definitely be back to try that soon. Amazing little Italian restaurant! You just check it out if you are in the SLC area.

The meal tasted OK and when asked why I explained, they became very defensive, and rude...So I asked for my bill back to retrieve my tip. The owner told me to bad and pushed me outside, and proceeded to try and punch me in the face. Then chased me around the parking lot tell I call the police. I was told he has been very confrontation with other people. Stay away from this place!

Used to come here for pizza with my team from work. Had the unfortunate pleasure of having their $18 shrimp "scam"pi - what an absolute joke; a few noodles, 3 pieces of dried tomato, 8 shrimp, and a single piece of parsley soaking in olive oil along with 2 pieces of what I must assume was day old toast. Wouldnt come back if it was free certainly wont recommend.

Made a reservation for 16. There were only 3 other couples in the restaurant. Orders were confused, some didnt get their food until everyone else was done eating, food either very undercooked or very dry and bland. Then was a hassle to pay the check. The best part of the experience was our waiter.

It was clean, the food was ok. I went Sunday afternoon the place was empty. So I figured I would have good service since there where no other customers. I was wrong. Service was lacking,(I literally had to go get my own refill) thats why the three stars. Other than that it was ok.

This place has great potential with good decor but the food leaves A LOT to be desired tho. I got the calzone - the Italian sausage tasted like unseasoned ground beef, the gravy (sauce) was super bland!! The wine was very over priced for glass size as well as a limited wine list.

A favorite for sure! Weve tried several things here and every one of them was excellent. House pizza, Chicken alfredo pizza, pollo chicken alfredo all excellent. Homemade Alfredo sauce excellent! Mom and pop run family environment. Friendly. Pomegranate juice was super too!

The service and food at Basilico was slow and bland. I took a group for lunch and the place was empty, around lunch, and they seemed shocked to see people. You can definitely do better, even with the limited options around the SLC airport.
