Called in asked to hold three times (understandable). After ever item we asked for "is that all"? (Wings, small pizza and breadsticks) (understandable) Itll be there in 1 1/2 hour. (... okay... understandable) 1st call- cant find your house...gave directions. (Understandable) 5 minutes later ... two missed calls... called back... still cant find the house. Give directions again. (Okay... still, understandable) Go to stand outside to wait. Car pulls up with Lucky Slice sign on corner street... car turns opposite direction. (Understandable) 5 minutes later ... Parked sitting at end of street. Calls again. Gave directions... again. (Understandable) I give money for food. No change offered. $28.00 for food, gave $40. (I planned on doing it anyway... but was hoping for an offer of change instead of an assumption) (super awkward... but I understand). Pizza - cold. Bread - soggy. Wings - Cold / void of flavor. Pizza does not have the same crust as the truck. Flavors are good. Sauce incredibly sweet, ranch has an odd bitterness but is good. I understand, everyone has off nights, streets can be confusing... but overall... come on. Im at a loss. First impression was terrible. I fee horrible having to say all this, but over the top crazy. Ordered at 7:30- pizza by 9:30. It totally was not worth it.

A love letter to the 80s serving pretty darn good California-style pizza. Im from NY and lived in Chicago for a long time, so Ive had my fill of different pizzas and was pleasantly surprised to find a fantastic little joint in Ogden, UT of all places. Lucky Slice has a divey atmosphere (decor + tatted employees) that totally fits the bill. Theres even an old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game, and boy does that take me back. Retro style art and music with plenty of seating both inside and out. Decent lunch deals and a fun daily quiz game where you can earn a double punch on your loyalty card if you know the right bit of useless trivia. A pretty wide, varying daily offering of pizzas (minus the staples that are always around). I enjoy the margherita a lot, and even did the poutine once because where the heck else are you gonna get that? Lucky Slice is a staple on historic 25th for a reason. My one complaint is the pizza crust, which to my tastebuds is often mostly flavorless. I dig the woodfire, brick ovens that really imbue the crust with smoke, wood, and stone. If Lucky Slice ever put in one of those, I think Id give it six stars.

I ordered Lucky Slice on a Friday evening, I ordered at 4:45 they said delivery would be about an hour (no problem). It got to be about 6:30, still no food.. I call and I am told the order isnt in the store any longer so the driver must be on her way (again, no problem). At about 7:00 PM I call the store again and I am told the order never left the store because my address wasnt pulling up in their system? (I am now confused since I was told it was on its way 30 minutes earlier...) Finally by about 7:20 PM the driver shows up, I am informed they will discount my total charge once they return back to the store. The pizza tasted as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for 2 hours. I was not impressed. My card was charged for the full amount. After 5 calls and 15 days later they finally refunded my card. I love Lucky Slice and I hope this was just an off night for them. Jeff the General Manager was fantastic to work with, too bad they didnt put me through to him the first time I called.

I used to love this place. Now the pizza is too greasy, the crust has gotten even thinner and almost tastes burnt sometimes, the ranch/marinara sauce have no flavor, and the bread sticks usually taste like dough. The customer service has gone down hill too. I remember a couple of years ago I placed an order to be delivered to my home in Washington Terrace and there was no minimum. Now I work across the street on 25th and I tried to order about 8$ worth of food and they told me they wouldnt deliver unless I ordered either a whole pizza or over $10. I have ordered there before and they were more than happy to walk it across the street but I guess now they cant be bothered. I used to love this place especially because they are local, however I guess Ill start spending my money at other local pizzerias where they appreciate my business. .

For a 4.7 star review I was very disappointed. Ive never ordered from The Lucky Slice before nor do I know anyone who has eaten their pizza, so what arrived in the box was a complete surprise. We ordered a 20" 5-topping pizza for $23. It was one of the thinnest thin-crust pizzas weve ever seen. Not a single person at the table left the meal satisfied. Sauce painted on with a thin paint brush. The website says that when you order 5 or more toppings they will "blend the toppings generously so that they can all be enjoyed." Honestly, Ive had more toppings on a 12" Pizza Hut pizza. The pizza did taste good, Ill give them that one, but I wont be ordering again. I dont like paying $23 for a pizza thats only worth $12.99.

Best pizza in the state. Maybe even the country as far as Im concerned. I was an army brat and have moved from state to state bringing along my insatiable appetite for pizza. Their toppings and ingredients are prepared fresh every morning, the cheese bread is to die for, and the rice crispies are better than my grandmas. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Im not a big fan of trying a place once and making a judgement -- especially on an online review. Every once in awhile they might mess up an order or you have to wait longer than expected, but this is far from the norm and to be expected seeing as how they are human and not robots.

The pizza is great and the employees treated me like a star. After getting my two slices, I noticed that one slice wasnt the flavor I had intended to order. "Dammit bro I think I just ordered the wrong pizza." I said to my friend sitting next to me. Suddenly, a head popped out from behind the booth, an employees head, which said, "Hey, which one did you want to get?" I told him the kind I had wanted, he replied "gimme a sec," and not 30 seconds later arrived with a slice of that pizza and a kind-hearted "enjoy." 10/10 will partake again.

Ogden is lucky to have a fresh new pizza place like The Lucky Slice! As a non-Utahn foodie, I have been greatly disappointed with the lack of culturally fused and/or creative dining options in Ogden until now. There are very, very few restaurants in the Ogden area that have the quality/gourmet ingredients and obvious culinary training that The Lucky Slice is serving for an exceptionally reasonable price. And, I must add, they deliver for free! The Lucky Slice is a happening place to enjoy great food, great people, and a great location.

Amazing. My two year old son will not eat pizza ever until I stopped here today. While it may take him a long time to get through this huge slice I assure you he is going to try. My lady says I have found real pizza and she now has a favorite. Great prices huge slices and a crew of people making it a friendly little spot. I also couldnt help but notice the crowd. People from ask walks of life. Guys in suits mixed in with kids in shorts and hoodies. Clearly a place for everyone.
