La Piazza is the place to eat lunch or dinner in downtown Phoenix. Dont be fooled by the size and laid back atmosphere, this place is the BIG time. A little research on their site or on their serious reviews will give you a peek into what youre about to experience. But better yet, eat there first, then read up. The pizza is wood fired and is amazing. La Piazza is Nepolatana certified and is the REAL thing in Italian wood fired pizza. The ingredients are fresh, local and/or imported from Italy. The owner is often on site and has a staff of trained culinary masters. Try the pizza, try the pasta, try anything because you cant go wrong. Ive happily eaten everything on the menu (yes, I really have) and its all simply fantastic. When you stop in, tell my friend Mateo hello for me.

Pizza is very good, my server not so much. She is very disconnected really didnt care about her service. It was busy because it was lunch I get that, however still make me feel welcome. Honestly it was my first time here and the only reason I would come back would be for the pizza. Probably a lesson in hospitality would do ther server some good. I like the atmosphere this place has, the wood panel on the walls, the masks on the wall twords the back and the color scheme give it a nice urban downtown vibe. seating is a little different , being that I was seated in the back by the wood used for the oven. So if you want a good pizza (Ill say a little over priced but its downtown so thats expected) and average service at best this place is for you.

The staff has great customer service. The ambiance of the facility is casual. But what was uncomfortable was how warm and stuffy it got inside. The selection of wood-fired pizzas are great but prepare to receive a small pizza and pay the price. But the price you are paying is for the location - eating at downtown Phoenix. They also have a decent selection of wines and suggestions to pair with the pizza. If you must try this place then its great for a date night. Maybe a (small) corporate event. I however wont be returning.

First time to Phoenix, Im from Washington DC visiting my brother for the weekend and went here last night for dinner. Im a big fan of Diners, Drive -ins, and Dives and if Im in a new city I try to check at least one restaurant that was featured. This place did not disappoint! Staff was so genuinely nice and you could tell that they take pride in their product. Food was fresh and delicious, I got the Regina Margarita and he got the Four Cheese. Great service and great food makes for a returning customer on my next visit!

Not sure if this is their policy all year, but during Phoenix Comic Con they only allow cash payments and no split checks. We went as a group last year and discovered this after wed been seated, but decided to stay because we were hungry. On top of the inconvenience the server was rude. We were going to give them another chance this year but we were told the no cash/no split was still in effect so we took our business elsewhere.

This amazing little restaurant is just a few minutes walking time from the Convention Center. Freshly made pasta, sauce, bread, desserts, all made in house from scratch. Authentic Italian food at excellent prices. Mateo was our server, and not only was he friendly, handsome, and explained some of the food choices, he was an excellent server. This is a 5-star, moderately priced, slice of Italy heaven!

Hands down the BEST pizza I have ever tasted! To say the flavor is amazing, would be an absolute understatement...these guys have perfected the art of making and serving pizza pies! The service was nothing but top knotch and all the gentleman serving us were kind and crazy handsome! I am an out-of-towner and will definitely be returning to La Piazza whenever I am in Phoenix.

I LOVE La Piazza and finally had the opportunity to visit the Phoenix location. My friend and I split the Rucola salad and the Quattro Formaggio pizza with sausage. It was so incredibly good and we left no food behind. If you are in the mood for some delicious and authentic pizza, I highly recommend La Piazza!

This was a pretty good place. The food was great and they have a good selection of beer and wine. They were very professional and accommodating for my group with kids. So, not just a place for hipsters and business lunches. I found the menu to be a little pricey for the portions you get.

I never had a pizza with so much flavor before. Great size for one person that likes to eat. Italian Stallion is a great way to go if you really like flavorful meats. Service was phenomenal. The restaurant does tend to get hot due to the pizza oven and the Phoenix heat so dress light!

We always love the Italian Stalion pizza. It has never let us down! Came here with our 3 kids and they all loved it too for their first time. Saturday 2pm wasnt busy at all, basically had the place ourselves. and waited a short 10 minutes for the pizza to come out of the wood fire.

Great pie. One of the very best. Tried the stallion and also a meatless. Highly recommend the stallion as its a perfect pairing of flavors. One of the best pizzas Ive ever had anywhere. Fumbling service took a bit of the edge off. Will return again for sure.

I flippin love this place. Every time I go, the girl who first assisted me on my first night in Phoenix, remembers my sister and I. We are always treated well and food is amazing, never had anything more satisfying than their amazing pizza and service!

My favorite pizza place in Arizona! Whenever Im in downtown Phoenix, this is always my go-to. If you enjoy thin crust brick oven pizza, this is the place to come to! Tastes just like the slices youd find in Italy.

Amazing....this is soooo good. Justin the owner is so hospitable and outgoing. They use tomatoes directly from Italy and the red sauce is amazing. Just try their facaccia bread alone with the red sauce.

Amazing Neopolitan style pizza, many similar to what youd find at Pizzeria Bianco. If youre looking for something unique, try the Montanara. Its basically a deep fried Margherita, amazing.

Not overly fond of this overpriced pizza place. The portion was fair but very bland, the service off or apathetic. I also tried a slice of a friends which was only slightly better.
