I dont really know what impresses me more about this place: the amazing food or the over-the-top excellent customer service! I am more than just a little addicted to their food. Everything is good from the tacos to the noodle bowls; Ive had all the protein options, and all are good, although the Thai tofu is my favorite. If you get the tacos, have each one be a different protein.Try the Thai iced tea; its so worth it! Every time Ive gone, Ive noticed how nice everyone is and how good they are at their jobs. I mean, to me, it might be just a few noodles hanging over the edge of the bowl onto the counter, but they WILL want to redo it. This weekend, I noticed that Id been accidentally charged twice when Id purchased a gift card, so I went in and they quickly took off the second charge and even offered me food "for having to come all the way over here." I said no, since it really was an accident and not a big deal (but now Im sad I did, because the food is SO AMAZING!).

So excited they opened one here! Ive been to the Salt Lake and Sandy locations. They are all incredible. This is Asian food with a twist! The first time I walked into one I was a little shocked when I saw the menu because it was like no Asian food I had ever seen! They had sandwiches, tacos, salads and rice bowls. I was expecting some sesame chicken or something. I decided what the heck Ill give it a try. I was utterly impressed! I got the brown rice bowl with chicken and the curry and sweet sauce mixed. It was sweet and slightly spicy and loaded with flavor! The employee called the mix super sauce haha! I have kept going back ever since. I have also tried the steak which was surprisingly very tender. This is a must try! Do not be weirded out by the different look of their Asian food. It is super fresh and high quality. They also have organic sodas.

Love this place! I had the chicken tacos and they were amazing. The sauce they put on them with the lime and cilantro was Yummy! The Murray location staff was super friendly and helped me decide what to order since I had never been there before. We just ran over at half time from the football game for a bite to eat. I will definitely be back

This place has such good food. My husband and I are vegan. They are super accommodating when building our meal. The employees dont look at us like we are crazy for being vegan like most places. We used to get tofu tacos, but our new favorite is the salad with tofu. Writing this is making me hungry for Zao.

Super good food! Got some chicken tacos and the taste blew my mind. Their aioli is delicious and they have a great drink selection that includes sodas made with cane sugar and no additives. You dont feel obnoxiously full after eating as the food is super fresh. Definitely worth a try :)

Great service, gluten-free-friendly menu, delicious options. Even though theyve got a relatively small menu, Ive come here several times and the foods never gotten old. Its always great. Theyve got a winning formula: do a few things superbly well, instead of a lot of things averagely.

No chopsticks at an asian food place?!? Hmmmm. My girls love their rice noodles but i dont think they understand "highly allergic to peanuts" or dont seem to care. Clean but those who work there definitely dont like their jobs. Not an enthusiastic sole in the place.

Had the brown rice bowl with chicken and added the sweet soy with a lil green curry sauce... and let me tell you it was nummy! The price ended up being around $8, but the food fills you up. Very worth the amount for the fresh food and friendly service.

Absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Great food. They have healthy choices. My friend that is vegan can even eat there, while i love all types of food and this is one of my favorite choices. Never a wrong choice going here. Thanks zao

Great food and fast service. The steak or meatball Banh mi are both excellent. Sandwich options are limited compared to other, more traditional restaurants, but the rice bowls and taco options make up for it.

Portions were good, and I loved the flavors in the Zao tacos. The noodles, and the sandwich are also fresh, well seasoned, and filling. The tables were a little unkempt which explains the four stars.
