My husband, myself and our 2 and 4 year old daughters went to the Sub Zero on 900 East by 5600 south tonight (Sept. 17th, 2017 5pm"ish") We had an awful experience. From the moment we walked in the doors. We were the only customers in the place. The two girls behind the counter did not greet us or smile even once the entire time. The one taking our order looked like she was miserable and annoyed we were even there. We ordered the sizes we wanted and she just started making one without asking us what we wanted it made with, I told her I wanted custard and yogurt in the rest of them. She obviously started making it with the wrong stuff and was visibly annoyed and moved it aside and started making a new one. The two barely said one word to us. I was so uncomfortable ordering I really just wanted to not order and leave. I wish we had, it continued being horribly awkward and they rang us up after the first one was made, I paid and my husband continued with the other ice cream. I ordered 4 ice creams, but my husband thought we did three. Easy enough mistake to remedy but he told me later when he said "I dont know why your making a fourth one?" All he got in return was more silence and dirty looks. I thought it was strange they rang us up as we were not done ordering fully, and you pay per item added, but I paid not wanting to annoy them further. My husband asked for sprinkles on our daughters ice cream and the look we got from this girl was the last straw. My husband told her it was them who rung us up to fast without completing the order. We would have gladly paid the extra money. She put the sprinkles on and shoved the ice cream at me. My husband said something to them about their horrible attitudes. They didnt really respond, no apologies just dirty looks. It was the worst experance and Ill never go back. I get having a bad day, but leave it at the door and do your job. Ive worked in customer service jobs and would have never acted the way these two did.

The ice cream at this place is pretty decent, but lets be real - nobody wants to buy stuff from ornery people. Whoever owns this place, screen your employees a little bit better. My wife and I stopped by just after 10 pm. We seriously ruined the night for the 2 kids working the joint who had to take a very inconvenient break from surfing the latest tweets on their phones, and actually do their job. It was as if I had personally destroyed any glimmer of happiness that existed in their lives. My deepest apologies for that. Will probably never come back. The people in the McDonalds drive through smile at me.

Employees need to be vetted better or even just trained better. We called multiple times and received no answer. Drove over in a 30 minute drive, waited in line for 20 minutes because only one guy was working there. When we got to the front to ask about the Jafflz which we came for, the clearly slow employee just told us he doesnt know how to make them. This is unacceptable! If you work somewhere you need to know how to do what your job requires.

I like the idea and the ice cream but the people working there were rude and the straws were dirty which is weird because I looked it up and the law I read said this:(C) SINGLE-SERVICE and SINGLE-USE ARTICLES shall be stored as specified under ¶ (A) of this section and shall be kept in the original protective PACKAGE or stored by using other means that afford protection from contamination until used.

Delicious and open late! A fun place for fully customizable ice cream. You pick the cream label, from fat free to custard style, or even almond milk. Then an flavors and mix ins. They add liquid nitrogen and boil your ice cream until its frozen. Science experiment of the most delicious kind.

Coolest place Ive ever gone to for ice cream. Tons of flavors, including crazy ones like Mtn Dew, and mix ins to make it fun. They freeze liquid into a solid ice cream form in front of you with nitrogen! Its very interesting and fun to watch, and the staff there was very conversational!

I was extremely disappointed. I tried this place after hearing about how soft and creamy their ice cream/frozen yogurt was. I threw my 5 dollar small cup away. It was so frozen it looked like dip n dots and I had to chew. Flavor tasted like freezer burn, and made my stomach ill.

Sub Zero Ice Cream is always delicious and creamy. It is always enjoyable to watch them freeze the confections right in front of your eyes with sprayed liquid nitrogen! Unlimited flavor combos make this a great customized dessert joint.

I love the ice cream. It tastes rich and creamy. Only complaint is it is under staffed always and the staff make a mistake of over freezing.Overall worth the price. I love to come back often even though I stay far away

Very fun place to take kids. They loved to see the ice cream get frozen. The service was quite slow, probably because it takes so much time to make the ice creams, but its all part of the experience.

Poor service. The ice cream is flash frozen, meaning it isnt creamy at all. More like chunks of icy frozen milk. Would not recommend.
