While waiting in line there were 4 groups of people that came in, looked at the prices, and left. I shouldve followed their lead. I ordered a gelato with shaved ice on top. The shaved ice was mostly syrup, and nasty tasting syrup at that. I ended up throwing away all of the shaved ice. The gelato was meh, and so saturated in flavor syrup that it couldnt properly be called gelato. A disappointing experience, because the shop itself is so aesthetically appealing. Dont be fooled-overpriced and poor quality.

They have Dole Whip. If you havent had it, visit and sample some of this soft-serve pineapple goodness. The Nutella ice cream is surprisingly light and not over-sweet. The lavender ice cream is very strong. I didnt like it, but my friend said it was great with chocolate coconut macadamia nut ice cream.

Awesome shaved ice and ice cream! Im from Louisiana and used to eating snoballs all summer long. Theyre kind of hard to find, but Tropical Dreams shaved ice is pretty darn close. I absolutely loved their lavender and cream cheese ice cream flavors. Will definitely be going back very soon.

Cute little place on 9th!! It doesnt look like much on the outside, but inside is clean and classy. I got a small shaved ice and they gave me a TON of ice and flavor. Service was a little slow, but there was only one girl working. They also serve ice cream, gelato, and pineapple dole whip!

The ice cream here seemed different from ice cream that Ive gotten from other places, in a good way. It was quite delicious. I had Tahitian Vanilla and Toffee Crunch (or something like that). My wife got shaved ice and it was MASSIVE. And tasty.

This place is great! The ice cream is wonderful and unique only to Tropical Dreams Hawaiian Creamery. Its hard to describe the difference until you try it for yourself but the ice cream tastes rich and creamy! Highly recommend stopping by.
