We (party of three) had about a four minute wait to be seated. The place was steady, but certainly not super busy. The waiter was helpful and took our order quickly. While we waited, everyone started getting a headache from the loud music. It was so loud that conversation was almost impossible. We finally asked for it to be turned down, and to their credit they did so and by enough to make a real difference. Then we waited for our food.....and we waited....then waited some more. Finally after about 25 minutes our server came by and said he had checked and our food should be any second. Ten minutes later, I asked him what was going on and he said that the Kitchen was struggling some with five or six orders. Our order was so basic (a chicken dish, a pulled pork sandwich, and a half order of ribs) that it should have been up in less than 15 minutes. I asked to speak to the manager and she came by after about four minutes. She laughed and said that the kitchen had messed up four or five orders but our food would be out soon. Sorry, but after waiting 38 minutes, I didnt get the joke. I told her that I didnt see any funny and that frankly I was getting pretty upset. She quickly agree that it wasnt funny, then left as fast as she could. Our food came out about three minutes later. After taking a bite of my ribs, I was able to see why the food took so long. When the server came by I mentioned to him I understood the delay as the kitchen needed all that time to thoroughly burn my ribs. Any fool can do a poor job at burning ribs, but it takes time and real talent to burn them like mine were. He brought out a new order, but of course by then, all I wanted was to leave. To their credit, they didnt expect us to pay. So the meal was free, but the quality was worth what we paid. The server was good and did what he could to make amends for the problems. The manager was a joke and couldnt be bothered to ever apologize and avoided our table for the rest of the time we were there. I will never go back to that one, or to any other Texas Roadkill House. Ever!

My name is Mandy Sittler. My purpose for writing a review today is to compliment the conduct, character, and integrity of my service manager Abel Botello. I have been working for TRH for almost 4 years now and have had the honor and privilege of working for and with Mr. Botello for almost 2 of those years. Abel has many admirable qualities but highest among them is his respect for others. It would be very easy for him to treat others as if they were beneath him but he does not. It doesnt matter who the person or the position that employee fills, he treats everyone equally and with respect. He has somehow mastered the line between manager and friend. Efficiency is key for Abel. He runs a tight ship but still makes time to compliment those he sees doing a great job. He makes me want to work harder and be my best self. He builds us up instead of yelling at or tearing us down. If there is a concern about work ethic, Abel will work with you on how to set goals to improve those things and encourage your efforts. In my 15 years of on and off waitressing I have never experienced a manager so driven and dedicated to his work and the people who he is responsible for. I know he prepares to come to work every day geared up to be an example to those around him and an energy source for those dragging to draw from. There is an undeniable light inside this man, and he is willing to use it for good, always. Alley rallys are a thrilling time in the Lehi store. Abel revs us all up for the night and not only discusses the events of the evening but always relates what he is saying to our daily lives outside of the restaurant. He wants us all to achieve and be our best selves. I have waitressed in many different restaurants and I have found a home with TRH. I will work for this company as long as I work outside the home. Abel is going to be a force to be reckoned with and will leave a wake of goodness in his path. I feel privileged to be a part of his life and work for and with him.

As someone that travels it was comforting to see a familiar restaurant after a long day. Upon arriving we noticed a long line which typically at Texas roadhouse is not a problem. I sent my boyfriend in to put us on a list which the hostess said was about a 30 min wait. I was very surprised that unlike other Texas roadhouse this place uses a list instead of a beeper style numbered device. After about an hour of waiting we went inside starving and asked when we would be seated. We were told not too much longer so we decided to wait inside and this is what I noticed in the second hour of our wait: New guests that just so happen to know managers or workers are given priority seating noticed this about 3 times. Larger parties are given priority. And there is no order. We asked another couple being seated if they called ahead and how long they had to wait and they had simply walked in and were seated within 20 mins. Therefore Im unsure of the system or lack thereof for seating. Flash forward 2 hours and we are seated. Food is ordered and drinks arrive prompltly..(by this time we are more disgusted then hungry) Eureka! half of my order was not even brought out with my meal and both meals are not even hot. Took about 15 mins to get the rest of my meal as we sit uncomfortable as the staff paces by you marking down when you will be leaving.. We get it! you are busy and need the seating.. next time we will enjoy our meal at another Texas roadhouse

Food here was great as always (I mean REALLY good), but I wish they would have accommodated my family on my sisters birthday. We called the day before, two hours before, and 45 minutes before to make sure theyd be able to seat my family (with some grandparents) at two pushed-together tables. When we got there, they instead seated us in three separate booths scattered about the restaurant. We explained that we had spoken to three separate hosts and they assured us that wed be seated at tables pushed together in the back part of the restaurant, but the server insisted that they didnt know about it, later that it was against policy, then said it was something about the fire code. (This was previously a yearly tradition for my sisters birthday, and we have never had a problem.) I looked up Utahs fire code and didnt see anything that had changed recently or that directly pertained to scooting tables together. I understand that it takes a bit of logistics to seat a group, but restaurants have been doing it for decades... We didnt even surprise them, we called multiple times to make sure they knew that we were coming. Pretty discouraged with this whole experience. We felt like we were treated rudely about the whole thing. We probably wont be patronizing this particular location in the future. If youre in a small group, you probably wont have any problems. My wife and I had dined here many times before with no other issues.
