This place had great reviews, so we made reservations there for my birthday; trying something new! We thought the atmosphere was cozy, and really cute. The live entertainment was such a lovely touch, and our waitress was very polite. However, we had a group of 11, and they placed our table next to the bathrooms. Yes, I could smell the bathrooms. Not sure what happened there. We ordered the zucchini stuffed cream cheese appetizer, and it was very bland. Very. One friend ordered the black Angus filet mignon, and it came out nearly well done...no pink in the middle, as it shouldve, which is disappointing. Two friends ordered the salmon, and the description says it is served on a bed of leeks...but it was served on a cream sauce, and the sauce tasted "off." Overall, our food did not live up to these reviews, unfortunately. The creme brulee custard was tasty (though the glazed sugar was too thick and overly burnt.) On a side note, I left my birthday flowers on the table, and unfortunately they were thrown out at the end of the night. I called the next day, but it was too late. This is NOT their fault, but I was surprised that my present was thrown out in less than 12 hours. :(

A simply fantastic dining experience. From the atmosphere to the menu and the menu to the staff, everything about this restaurant emitted a tranquil and upscale aura. Live music, rustic ambiance, and a exquisite customer service make for one of the most exceptional dining experiences Ive had at an establishment such as this. Arthur, our server, provided fantastic service, was sociable, and was the largestest contibutor towards making my dining experience as superb as it was. He informed me of the food that aligned with my lifestyle and never made me feel unwanted or annoying for asking questions. I had the asparagus and artichoke bruchetta. It was delicious, fresh, and flavorful. Accompanied by my Layer Cake Malbec wine I must say that the meal was rather delectable. I do wish they had more Vegan-friendly options but a wonderful experience overall.

This place is a dream come true for anyone who enjoys fine French cuisine and a lovely selection of wine and beer. Family-owned, the father/chef delivers menu items that took my French professor husband straight back to his days of living in France - freshly prepared and with quality and care. The service was fantastically attentive and professional; the staff seem happy to slip some friendly conversation in between tasks. The atmosphere is remarkably clean, relaxed, comfortable, and stylish - the perfect place to enjoy oneself. We are looking forward to visiting again, likely during the weekend so we can catch their live music. Highly and happily recommended.

This is a family owned French restaurant and its been found, so make sure you get a reservation. Because the food is wonderful. The entertainment is normally great. The atmosphere is inviting. And the staff, many of them family members, is wonderful. Dont forget to save room for desert. C&WB is also pet friendly if you dont mind sitting on the patio. They will even take a picture of your pooch and hang it on the Woof Wall of Fame. They just opened another location in south Chandler too.

We were looking for a place to just relax and grab a bite, and have a glass of wine. This place was perfect for that! We ordered 3 kinds of bruschetta and a meat and cheese board; also ordered a bottle of wine. Everything was delicious and the ambiance was just what we were looking for. They even had some laid back live music. For sure will visit again. Great place for a date!

Absolutely amazing food! Was there last night for my fiances B-Day and it was wonderful! The atmosphere is so relaxing and I cant go on enough about how delicious the food was! Also the owner was so sweet the service was fantastic! I look forward to going back again ASAP! We all had a wonderful evening celebrating my fiances B-Day.

My grilled goat cheese salad was amazing. Imagine a toasted marshmallow on baguette toast, but goat cheese, perfectly toasted and drizzled with honey lemon dressing and crunchy bacon to wash it down. The Chardonnay complimented the dish well with a balanced bouquet of florals and green apples. Yum.

I had the bruschetta as an appetizer and the duck for my entree. Both were flavorful and delicious. I lived in France for 2 years and this reminded me of the food I used to get at nice bistros and cafes over there. Excellent food and service from Killian. Highly recommend!!

The food and wine were amazing. This is a hidden little gem in our neighborhood. Our service was great too! The only downside was that it was very hot inside. We would stayed longer, but we were overheated. Hoping they get the AC fixed so we can come back and try more wine!

Great wine section- clearly chosen by a wine lover! The food was nicely presented & delicious. We had Bruchetta & the Salmon Salad. They have live music Fri & Sat- the duo was Josh West when we were there. Very talented- not too loud, conversation was easy. Well be back!!

I love everything French. Cozy, amicable and knowledgeable owners, great food, nice ambiance, usually good live music. The wine is a bit pricey because it never really goes on sale, the way Postino does $5 wine all day until 5. But, this place has a nice patio.

Great authentic French cuisine. This is one of the very few places in the valley to get authentic French food. The wine menu is spectacular! And the owners often make an appearance. This is a great place for a date night or a girls night out.

I have enjoyed the marvelous food here on two occasions. It is simply amazing. Add in the friendly staff and family atmosphere and you cant go wrong. The relaxing live music adds to the atmosphere. Simply a wonderful place.

Got us in and out on a busy night. All the steaks were pretty good, one ribeye a little tough. Service was quick, not made to feel you could relax and stay awhile!
