My husband and I were in Layton on business the other day and ate here. Their food was really good, but their service was just "meh." They seem to be geared more for take-out than for dining in. When we were done with our meal, we had to physically flag down our server. He and his colleagues (all 20- and 30-somethings) seemed to be more concerned about playing with their smartphones than serving their customers. That said, their food is really good. You get a lot for the price. I got a dolmathes (grape leaf rolls) platter and a chicken gyro and hubster got a chicken kabob plate. Both entrees come with lemon rice, potatoes and a small salad, which was made with romaine instead of iceberg lettuce. I ended up getting a to-go box and enjoying the leftovers for lunch the next day. This place also serves Indian food, which I like as well. But, they really need to work on their service. After all, peoples money spends the same, whether theyre dining in or carrying out.

Honestly, I have been going here for two years now. I have watched as the cleanliness and quality has fallen too nothing more than dismal. The food was great when I first started eating there? Now plagued by flys, horribly salty food and prices way over inflated!!! "literally I pay two dollars more $5.99,for a lesser Gyro sandwich that not too long ago was only $3.99? I understand inflation but I also understand quality. This place has failed miserably! I dont recommend this to anyone. If you want to get sick, take your chances here. Between the sticky floors, flys and sticky uncleansed tables, your taking a serious chance. What once was good is now miserable! Dont waste your time on the wait or the money! Its just not worth it here!

I only give it a one star, because I had to give it something to write a review. It should allow negative stars, thumbs down... I told they guy "I cant find a decent Spanakopita in Davis county" and he said, "oh well, then you havent tried ours" so I ordered it. It isnt Spanakopita it is just frozen crusts of yuck reheated, nothing fresh about it... I gave them one more try for the Damolte and they too where nasty, mushy, greasy and served cold, like they dumped them directly from a can... will NEVER GO BACK to this dirty, nasty, almost left my shoes from the sticky floor place... I cant believe they are even in business.

Not the University Broiler and Grill. The customers just ahead of us got treated pretty rudely. Thought that was kind of odd. We ordered takeout. I was sticking to the floor, and the tables were not cleared, there were leftover cups and containers from other customers. I pulled out a chair to wait, and the chair was covered in sticky-something. No air conditioning, HOT. And my favorite thing, flies. Lots of them. To be fair, the food wasnt bad. Just knowing that it came from the restaurant with all those flies and cleanliness issues kind of grossed me out.

Went to drive thru, had the guy shouting on a phone at the window. Then asked what I wanted. Then while I was telling him he walked away. Then came back took order said it would be 10 mins I said ok because everyone said there great. 20 mins later got my Gyro lunch special. There fries and fry sauce were great but a Gyro thats got one slice of meat and 1/4 of and onion and a bunch of tomatoes is not so great. It tasted super salty. I will tell everyone. What must have been once good is now horrible. Avoid at all costs.

Stopped to dine-in earlier tonight. Three tables were taken and the rest had not been cleared. The place was filthy! I stood at the counter for four minutes and no one helped me, though I did get a head nod from a guy in the kitchen when I first walked up. Have been through their drive thru a few times and like their food but after seeing the awful state inside, coupled with non-service at the counter, I will not be returning.

The worst Gyro i have ever had . For 6.99 it was a micro sandwhich and the meat did not taste like Lamb at all ,very greasy and had gristle in what tiny few pieces there were, smothered in a horrible dripping white sauce i would not call cucumber. It was supposed to come with fries and they were out of that . On a Friday afternoon start of memorial weekend . Not Greek whatsoever. Never go there again .

Their food is great, service for me has not been so great though. I always get their lunch special (chicken souveloki that comes with rice, potatoes, bread and a salad). Everything in that meal is really good. The service just lacks a bit. The prices are a little high, but for as much food that comes with my lunch special it seems fair (I always have leftovers to save for a second meal).

Large portions, appropriate pricing, and the food. Oh the food! There is a reason why this is called best Greek food. Its because it is the best! We got the #4 double shrimp and the #21 gyro and chicken. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Every type of food had a different but amazing taste! My fiancé and I are going to become regulars!:) I love this place!!!

The food was pretty good. There was lots of spice, and the giro was pretty good. Im giving it 4 stars because the water was spicy (I dont even know how that works) and there were lots of plants that were covered in dust. If you have decorations, shouldnt you keep them looking decorative?

Always great food. The place is small and nothing fancy, but the food is good and the workers are kind. We have eaten there and done take out. We called earlier in the day, stated what time we wanted to pick it up, it was ready when we showed up and hot when we sat down to eat.

Food wasnt anything special, (I ordered the Greek) and almost all of the tables were dirty and there was only one other table occupied. There was no menu listing everything and the guy who took my order seemed defensive about the price when I wasnt even upset about it.

Pretty good greek food. Their falafel had a bit of a bitter aftertaste, but was still pretty good. They gave us a lot of rice. My toddler wasnt crazy about the chicken kabob, but she liked the rice. The potatoes and salad were tasty. Over all a pretty good place.

Weirdly more Indian than Greek food. The staff is friendly, but scatterbrained. We never got our drinks, or were checked up on while eating. The food tastes OK, but Im pretty sure my chicken coconut korma was just butter chicken with a splash of coconut milk.
