What To Order: Beef Pad Thai I stopped for the night in Weatherford and asked the hotel staff where to eat. They gave a poor recommendation for Golden Moon, but since we were hungry to Thai or Chinese, we decided to try it anyway and were glad we did. We both ordered the Pad Thai and the portion size was really good, it was actually more than we were able to eat. I wasnt sure what the hotel guy was referring to when he said "you dont get much for your money". The Pad Thai had good flavor, tasted fresh, and was the drier fried variety of Pad Thai I like, not the red tamarind sauce type. The service here was very good, and the food was out pretty quick after ordering. They advertise they have been in business since the 80s and we figured if they had been around that long, the food must be pretty good, and it was. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in the area. Its a great place to get some good Thai food.

The food was pretty good. Very accommodating for my mothers allergies and food preferences. Service was lacking. We ordered and received our food with no problem. I usually base the tip on how well they keep my beverage filled. It was refilled about five minutes into our meal (good so far!); then we were ignored :o( My glass became empty, my mothers glass became empty and then she and I split my dads water. Thank goodness he had the water. We waited almost ten minutes after completing our meal before we received our check. The dishes were not cleared until after we left. They had the most beautiful orchids at the checkout, so I bought some to brighten our evening. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and try it again at some point in the future, but I had better keep a full glass and not be made to feel ignored.

Service with a grimace and when they darn well feel like it. Clientele that Just reminds you "oh yeah, you're in small town Texas", and almost completely tasteless entrees swimming in undercooked products and oils. The place looks like it should be legit, but it is - without a doubt - the worst Asian restaurant in a great many miles... Choose one of the buffet places over this greasy excuse for an eatery any day of the week... especially Monday, when they are closed, presumably to filter out the oil they scrape off used plates and use as a sauce for every single one of their disgusting dishes.

Well the food was amazing, definitely Muslim inspired. the best was the spicy chicken noodle, which came with rice, but was infused with authentic Chinese noodles. the chicken curry was pretty good, but lacked the amount of sauce that India Muslims put in it, but added the awesome vegetables that Chinese Muslims make. Im most definitely going to stop again lol. Im a huge Chinese food guy, and Id give them a 10 out of 10. They also delivered to a lonely trucker at the pilot truck stop. Dont honestly know if theyre Muslim, but dont let that stop you from trying their great food.

Shelby, the "hostess"/cashier was extremely rude when she is the one who messed up my to go order. The owner said to me " What happened here is you didnt check your bag before you left." So it was my fault that I didnt receive all my food because I didnt check it before I left. The food is mediocre and the service(especially from the owner) is absolutely sub-par. I will NEVER give this establishment another penny of my hard earned money. This is the second and last time I will go there, the first time they messed up my order as well

I ordered my food (note: had to order a $15 minimum just for myself) at 6pm. Im quoted a 45 minute wait....at 7:20pm they finally deliver. I get the containers open and its the wrong order. I call and theyre very nice about it and apologize, then tell me theyll have the correct order right out. 40 minutes later Im still waiting...I called again and was told to hang in there??? I DO NOT recommend ordering from Golden Moon for delivery. This is ridiculous!!

My favorite restaurant in Texas!! Everyone who works there have such nice and hard working hearts. Any food served can be made just how you like it. Everything is always incredibly mouth watering and there is always more than enough to eat on the plate! Definitely try this place out-oh and if you love spicy foods, ask for their hot oil(so good!!)! :)

Amazing food at a fair and reasonable price. I highly recommend the "Corn Eggdrop Soup" as a Texas twist on an Asian staple. The Orange Chicken & Curry Fried Rice are some of the best entrées. The Cains Iced tea, which comes free with every entrée at lunch, is the best tea Ive ever had. I never leave without drinking at least 5 glasses.

I live outside of Seattle but I visit Weatherford about every 90 days and the last six months something has changed this place used to be five star the first time I thought it was just a fluke that the food was bad we ate there last Wednesday and it was bad again the service is good but the food is just not up to par anymore

When visiting Weatherford and you find yourself hungry for Chinese, this is the place to eat. Great prices, friendly management, fast service, superior food with no MSG. Large lunch portions served with soup and iced tea along with your side of rice and egg roll. Excellent dining experience. One of our favorites!

Some of the best service Ive ever had! Chris was fantastic! Absolutely loved the sweet and sour chicken, it had a nice glaze to it unlike most places that pour a watery red sauce over breaded chicken that soaks everything up and leaves you lacking flavor. Will definitely be visiting again in the very near future!

My experience of oriental food is that you can always use chopsticks. Not at "Golden Moon." Everything is cut in large pieces that force you to use a fork and a knife. The flavor is okay, but it just doesnt seem authentic oriental food. It feels more like a caucasion person trying to pawn off as Chinese.

FOOD WAS OK, BUT WHEN I ASK TWO SPRING ROLLS SEPARATE, THEY GAVE ME ONE Springroll, I was pretty upset when i came to the store, becouse it was not for me.I will give them the benefit of the doubt and try it again at some point in the future. To try if they do it again.

I got the broccoli noodles with beef and it was amazing! My boyfriend got curry fried rice with chicken and he loved the taste, but there was a HAIR in it!! Other than that our take out order only took 15 minutes and the staff was polite... but hair

Great meal for a great price. The orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken (and pork) are amazing. You can get two meals out of most of their dinner meals. Egg rolls are great as well. Service was polite and prompt.

To the owners--you need to put your menu on line! We spent an hour trying to find it, The Website you gave us says "...down for maintenance.." We have a party of 116 people to set up. We went to another resturant.

Went to this place thinking it was a buffet but its not. But it is excellent food, actually the best Chinese food Ive ever had. The service was excellent and it was a very clean place. Will definitely be back
