In all my 26 years I have never walked out of a restaurant until yesterday. That says a lot! We decided to give Ying Cafe a try since we recently moved to the area. Our party consisted of my wife and I, my 6 year old son, my brother and his girlfriend. At first everything was fine. We were quickly greeted and seated. Our waitress seemed quiet and shy, but our drink order was filled promptly nonetheless. This is where it went downhill, and I mean landslide downhill. I have waited tables before and customer service is everything. We had a few questions about our food order and the waitress became sarcastic and condescending! My 6 year old tried making conversation with the waitress and he said, "My ice water is cold." She sarcastically remarked, " Is that bad?" Really!? My wife asked if an order of fried rice came with the Chicken Lo Mein like all the other meals. The waitress said, "Rice is rice and noodles are noodles." My wife at this point had enough. She just said "whatever" ill have the Chicken Lo Mein. I asked the waitress to add a side of fried rice to her meal. She quickly wrote it down and moved on to the next seat. My brothers girlfriend asked if she could substitute Lo Mein instead of rice with her meal. The waitress looked confused and once again tried to explain the difference in rice and noodles. Frustrated, she told the waitress to just add a side of Lo Mein to her meal. The waitress left to place our order and bring us our soup. My wife and brothers girlfriend were ready to leave, but I said lets just finish our meal and we can speak with the manager. The hot and sour soup was pretty good and, my sons meal quickly came out. The waitress brings out a side order of french fries, and puts them in front of my wife. She then places an order of plain wet noodles in front of my brothers girlfriend. I ordered a side of fried rice, not french fries. And Lo Mein is fried noodles, not raw plain noodles. That was the straw that broke the camels back. My brothers girlfriend got up and left the restaurant. We quickly followed suit as my brother went to speak with the manager. He offered to pay for the soup and egg rolls that we had already consumed, but the manager insisted they were on the house because we were not satisfied. She was very polite and apologetic. As he was walking out he saw one of the waiters laughing. Needless to say, we will never return to this establishment or recommend it.

I tried this place for the first time yesterday and had a very good experience! The restraunt was clean, service was great. The waitress was super sweet to my friend and I. The food was great! Some of the best Chinese food Ive had in a long time. Hot and sour soup was perfect. We got large portions for lunch for a great price. We got our entree with rice, noodles, a cheese puff and egg roll along with soup for just under $8. We were both stuffed and had leftovers to take with us. I will be returning soon! Again, the waitress was so nice and courteous, quick with our order and bringing our meal! You should give them a try!!

I had a bad experience on my last visit, but I have eating here for years and the food is always fantastic. I love the Hot Sour Soup...it is dark, rich and full of flavor. The orange chicken with the fresh crispy broccoli is a fan favorite. You can also go meatless with the Mixed Veggies...I order the veggies in their brown sauce and I ask for it extra spicy. It is alwys a fun treat. I am only giving it 4 stars because of my horrific last visit...but I am looking forward to my next visit being what I have come to expect here...clean, fresh, delicious American Chinese Food with friendly personal service!

I was really impressed with this place for the money. I got the General Tsos chicken lunch special and thought it was very tasty. It came on a big plate and included soup, a cheese puff (like a crab rangoon), and some other extras. My son got some fries and fried shrimp for a little less money but that wasnt as good and I wouldnt recommend it... however, I would very much recommend the General Tsos chicken. I posted a photo of it here as well. Wed definitely go back more often if it wasnt so far away from us.

I ordered orange chicken. First of all, i payed with my card, i was asked my card information twice on the phone, and the delivery guy tryed to charge me cash when he got to my house . I got orange batter, there was no chicken and the fryed rice might as well be white rice because it was absolutely tasteless. And i was really hungry so i still tryed to eat it, took 5 bites max n i was already feeling sick, i couldnt find any chicken i ordered and the rice sucke. Ruined my day and the next with stomach aches.

My experience with this place was a joke I had to spell my street over 10 times I spelled it letter by letter they just didnt want to take my order I was trying to order for two people for delivery Im a very gratuitous tipper and they just lost out on a sale because they just dont want to do their job so I will not be going back to this place nor will I be promoting this place at any kind of capacity whatsoever its Chinese food its not rocket science

Authentic Chinese. I highly recommend the soups and the sweet and sour chicken. Yings is the only place around with pineapple sweet and sour sauce. The staff is extremely friendly, but English is not their first language, so they often misunderstand, but they will promptly fix or comp anything thats incorrect. Theyre very loyal to the regulars as well. Great family, great food.

Waited and hour and a half for an order that was incorrect and cold. Called back and asked for my money back and they said I would do it at the end of the night. At the end of the night I got call back saying they couldnt refund my money because they didnt get their product back. If you wanted it back why didnt you come get it. The worst customer service ever.

I have been patronizing Yings regularly since discovering the place about 5 years ago. The food is ALWAYS good, and very consistent. The service is ALWAYS good. The place is very clean, and the prices are quite reasonable. I have spent most of the last thirty years in the food business, I know a good restaurant when I see one. Yings is a good restaurant.

A loyal customer of Yings Cafe. The staff are attendant and polite and the food is wonderful. Seems to be family run. There is a great lunch special if you get there before four. Be sure to try their hot and sour soup. I bring all of my friends who say they dislike it there to change their minds. Food does have MSG if thats a concern.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area & has been for many years. The food is always consistent & their lunch specials are the bomb. You can take advantage of the lunch specials 7 days a week & I believe its from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Who does that??
